Does your wife have a sister FMT? It's not a fight for me to get the gaming time I do get in but my gf does get annoyed for Madden games since I basically tell her to not even be in the same room so I can focus!

I wish my apartment was bigger so I could tell my wife to move somewhere else. In last night's game with Bob, she said something that the Kinect picked up and Madden audibled to a completely different play. Totally screwed me up.

Damn. I should have started Meyers earlier in the year. Racked up 17TD passes in 6 games. He gets a 20K XP bonus for 35 in a year. Now I know what to shoot for next season!

That really was a good game. Back and forth the entire way. You probably should have just kept running the whole time. I'd leave 3 linebackers in to stop the run and your RB would truck over all of them. I don't know if it was HFA or what, but I'd attack the hole with two guys at the line of scrimmage and your RB will go forward for 4 yards. Of course passing to Gates is always a good option. So jealous at having an elite TE which can consistently get open.
My oline has become better with pass blocking, but I really hate them with run blocking. I can't get anyone to at least open up a crevice for me. It really shown in that 4th quarter drive where I got stuffed on 2nd and 1 and 3rd and 1. Couldn't even get one yard to make a first down.
I'll be honest, after you kicked the FG to go up 24 to 21 in OT I thought hard about throwing the game away then. But it was too good a game for me to just throw in the towel right then and there. Plus I wanted to try and prove to myself again I can win against a good player on the road with the game on the line.

I ended up getting a nice monitor so I can play on it and she can just keep watching TV. It took me a bit to get used to, my first games on it were the 13 int debacle day against FMT and DM.
When I played FMT last I was on the tv and she was decorating, it was awful cause she kept crossing in front and asking me if some ornament looked nice.

I used to schedule a lot of my Madden games for Mid day on Sunday because my previous GF would always be napping at that time. During the week she often went to bed earlier than me so that's when I would play Madden. I probably upset her a few times with Madden time interfering with stuff, and she used to hate waiting for me to enter everything in League Daddy. At least she was a football fan so she sort of understood. I have no idea how I'll explain this league to my next GF.
For now all I have to deal with is my dog who tries to force me to pet him while I'm playing. Usually once he realizes I'm not gonna pet him he goes away, and then comes back as soon as he hears me not playing the game anymore.

I've been married 15 years, we don't demand a lot of each other and our kids are pretty self reliant. Only sex and nfl games trump madden schedule wise. Distractions are unavoidable though. Guys with babies have it way worse than me.

You just want to be 7-9 and in the playoffs, admit it!
Don't fuck me and lose this game. If Madden somehow cheeses me into the post season it is going to kill my draft positioning.

No, I lost the first game thanks to you putting Hester down for 5 weeks. I was in shambles on offense when I played him. Lost 13 to 10. Then the next time I played him it was Meyers first start and that game was a disaster. I thought it would be easier adjusting QBs than it was. Every pass was off.
There is zero reason for me to have a shot at the division except EA. The only other method I could think of is if Thruster possibly beat Crow (wouldn't happen), which would put us all at 7-9. Then I think the tie breaker ends up being common opponent record, which may put me over the top consider my 3-1 AFC West record this season.
