I can't even see who the CPU bid on, if anyone.........I'm about to fucking rage!!!!!!
So I checked on two bids I made via the website last night, about a quarter of the value that I actually offered. AVOID THE WEBSITE. Use it for traits only.

Tried backing out and going back in to no avail. Trying to reboot the whole game now. Jesus christ this sucks. I have a little over 13 mil available in cap room still but I have no idea where the other 25 mil was bid.
Stop trying to use the website for anything substantial such as free agency. It only shows a limited amount of free agents that match up with your player preferences.
Everyone should just use the console.

Collins' asking price is somewhere betwen 6m-7m.

Maybe now that I'm off autopilot, when it advances, I'll get control back. As of right now, I have no idea who I've bid on, how much, and who else is available.
Had 38 mil of cap room but only 13 left right now, so the 25 mil is bid on Collins, Flacco, and some others, I guess.
That's difficult to accomplish at work.
It just makes zero sense that the website would be limited. What's the fucking point of it then? Do we have to pay an Elite fee in order to get full access? Fuck EA.
NCAA '11 is my only comparison since I missed out the last couple of years, but that site was great. Lacked some stats, but I ran the team from the site, a godsend really.

Daw what was your issue before, just the TV? In order to make Saturday FMT will have to advance every day until then, I thought that was pretty clear. Was there no other TV in the house you can hook up to? I don't know how unreasonable that is.
Is it going to be possible for everyone to log into their Xbox for at least the 10 mins a day it's going to take to get us to Saturday? I don't think anyone's taking vacation.
Also, I wanted to point out that I'm going to be out of the country from 11/29 (early morning) to 12/4 at around 9 PM. It should be during regular weekly matchups so if I get lucky I'd like to be able to play all my games this season but I'll autopilot if I have to.
Yes, my TV crapped out on Saturday. I have no other TV. I went on Sunday to buy another one but the earliest they could get it to me was today. It was delivered, the very first thing I did was turn on Madden to do my shit.
edit: I was hoping to get it on Sunday and bring it home but unless I wanted to not get one as nice as I did that wasn't an option.

first off, there's no guarantee they would've taken your offer. once your first offer was rejected, they would've gone to FA anyways.
however, i will have the bids removed. you will get 1 chance to make a bid on them before i advance tonight. if they don't take your bid, they are free to the open market!
so smokey, luke, sanjuro please remove your bids from these guys as it was my "mistake" that daw couldn't get his stuff in. once i advance tonight, there will be no players off limits.
and i will be advancing to the next step every night at 8 pm pst. if you can't get a bid in then i'm sorry

Re-quote.How the off-season works:
- Pro Bowl
- Super Bowl / Scouting - You can scout while the 9ers win the SB.
- [Stage 1] - Re-signings (Note: it will tell you that same week if they accept the contract or not. All you have to do is back out of the signing screen and it will be on your weekly checklist.) If your players decide not to sign, you can franchise them or let them go to FA.
- [Stage 2] - Free Agent Signing - A WILD KURT WARNER APPEARS - In this stage, you will shoot your initial offers to FAs. It will tell you who has offered contracts and who the player is thinking of signing with by way of team logos under his info.
- [Stage 4] (skips 3 for some reason) - Scouting/FA offers continued - In this stage, you can scout rookies in addition to offering FAs more/less/no money or signing them.
- [Stage 6] (skip again) - More Scouting and FA offers. You get more scouting points. The same amount you get on a regular week. This is your final week to get offers in or take them away. Some FAs sign early so you might even have a signing or two done.
- [Stage 7] - More scouting, more scouting points. FA is done. Last chance to spend this season's scout points.
- [Stage 8] - NFL Draft/ FA recap - This is where we take speedy, 6'10 running backs with 95 truck and 98 stiff arm. You are no longer allowed to scout.
And that leads us to testing out the draft. I want to hold a mock draft with a few people Monday after the game or Tuesday afternoon/evening.
Things I would like to test:
- Ability to trade during the draft (trade down, up, whatever)
- Web draft ability
- Our connections (including chatting while drafting)
- Starting/stopping draft to increase/decrease the time (helps in the later rounds)
Anyone is welcome to join if you just want to see what it's like or test out your browser/phone if you can't make it to the actual draft. Of course, the picks will be completely blind because you haven't done any scouting, but it's not really about that.
