I use both sometimes... They use the same animation but it seems like QB Wrap has two different things, unless I'm making these up. The blocking is more dedicated for the QB to run to whichever side and the animation seems to be quicker to allow the QB to leave the backfield.

It's different. The read option is only broken because of the DE's reactions. QB Wrap has that plus the entire defense shifts to the left and the QB gets a speed boost animation, so he doesn't just have a step on the D. he has a couple.

You are mistaken sir. I actually brought up the idea of banning it, especially since I only ran it like 5 times and had no idea it was broken. The only qb run plays I call now are read options and qb power.

With Josh Johnson? That formation has like 3 qb run plays. 1 with a pulling guard, 1 without, and qb wrap. Maybe it has one more but I haven't used that formation in a while.
