no, the game sets aside the pool automatically for you (you can see it in on your salaries page along with your cap space)

p.s.

is there anyone we're still waiting for? i'm going to ask around AIM but if you are going to be doing some work in FA and dont want me to advance then speak up citizen!

Rookie cap is accounted for. It won't let you put a bid in if you're dipping into the rookie fund.

I think high 80s is in the A threshold. You don't see too many 85 and below guys anymore. I haven't scouted any QBs, though.


[edit]Also, their accuracy is probably in the 50s and 60s...

So these letters are rubbish.

A guy with B accuracy can be below 80 and C might be in the 60s. Good to know.

Told FMT last night that unfortunately, it is probably unreasonable to wait for me on FA given how long I will likely be without power.

no one will sign bear pascoe or martellus bennett so you can get them when the bidding period is done!

but that still leaves the question of the draft. i am willing to move it to sunday night as opposed to going directly to wednesday night but i hope we can do it saturday morning :(

There are other guys i bid on as well. I just realized i can't alter anything but number of years. Trying to adjust the numbers screws up the view on my phone so that i can no longer submit an offer. That's if my offers are even going through, seems like they didn't sign with me (or anyone).

actually no not really, but I made my choice to play in a corrupt league so I'll live with it

I say we revote and the only people who get to vote are the people who can't make a time under any circumstance

Saturday@1 is great for me, my son will just be going down for a nap. If I miss the draft, I'm going to be between a rock & a hard place considering how badly I've fudged these FA periods.

I think I might have put an offer on Bennett...missed him on the list of untouchables. If we advance, and he signs with me I'll cut him. Pretty sure I didn't offer him a bonus.

there are also people who can't make it at 5 pm saturday and can't make it sunday. like i said earlier, why dont you talk to somnia or another former league member and see if they can join the league as the dolphins temporariliy and draft for you?

and who am i catering to? lol. i put it to a league vote, and that is what the league voted. democracy at its finest!

Get letters that mean nothing, not enough points to cover most players, ran through 14k and only covered 3 positions.

Good and bad things about the process I guess. Wish they gave you letters but with a narrow range, but then you wouldn't spend points to reveal the final number.

I got to the point where just to be safe I uncovered scheme on every position that I care about, since it seems like you can hopefully infer a bit about the overall player for a very small cost.

yes, and now we are in the 2nd FA stage. you also had some FA's signings (check earlier, i posted all the signings)

Truthfully I wasted a shitload on WRs since I wanted to dig deep.

Probably buy that scouting package before the season starts, though I bet it's a waste. Takes a while to do this as well, I got tired and stopped.

It would take me three seasons to save up 30k points.

i wasted a bit on WR's but i was just looking for a punt returner. i spent a bunch between WR's, RB's and CB's just trying to discover a decent "Kick Return" rating.... and i finally did with a 7th round graded guy!

i found a few "gems" at other positions. but i'm sure if i found them then other people have too!

Yeah, I'm not sure it's wise even if you can save that kind of XP in a single season.

You'll get 64k scouting points, so I guess you can knock out about 8-9 positions and that's letters only.

Probably wiser to spend the XP elsewhere.
