There is definitely a limit to amount of times you can make a contract offer, I lost out on a player already that said he's going to test free agency because I made a third offer that still wasn't to his liking and now I can't sign him at all

Damn, thought they could've gotten rid of that! Sucks you have to wait a week/advance to give them a new offer.

When does the league advance? Whoever I play, Saturday morning/early afternoon would be the best time for me. I have conferences for work all day tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be drinking afterwards. Saturday night I have a show I'm going to.

I've found that it's almost impossible to negotiate a contract by giving lower offers than they request. It's basically give them their offer or bust.

I believe it's scaled back quite a bit as opposed to two years ago. I think you start seeing the effects 40 and below.
