I kept telling him it was a $60 tech demo, and he wouldn't listen!

They made Kung-Fu Chaos for goodness sake!

Oh me too. The quote about how Heavenly Sword is gonna be the best game of this year and much better than anything on the 360 came during a conversation I had with Bob. :D A quick copy and paste to our friend at Bungie and the remark is now famous.

i dont think the league will be on ps3 next year. there is something that doesn't feel right about it vs. 360. it doesn't feel right... like playing the SNES version over genesis! or like making out with a dude who kind of looks like a chick.

The highlight stick is your friend. Trust me I know your pain, people ganged up on LT against me for the last 3 seasons. I still managed to lead the league in rushing last season though, but too many third and longs killed me :/

Anyone seen TJ Denogginizer around lately?

The something that "doesn't feel right" is the 30fps and overall gimpness of it. Who knows what the new year holds?
More gimped versions for PS3 until 2012, but then the world will be over :(

I really don't plan on getting a PS3 until I can get it for about $199. A second console really isn't worth more than that to me.

There was a waiting list and a second league of folks playing this year, I don't think that would kill anything. ;)

3 year only covers the red ring. All other ailments and you're SOL! Btw- the countdown starts from when you send your first 360 ... which is actually cool since it's not from date of purchase, but kinda sucks that your refurbs fall under the same timeline.

I bought that extra $50 two year warranty when I first bought my launch 360 cause I didnt trust MS.That covers me for any problems,so im good for over 3 years.

Hey folks, have holiday company leading into Christmas. There's a good chance the Xbox will be on (I anticipate a lot of Rock Band), but unless it's really late, I'm probably not available to play.

Hey Birdman sorry about missing yesterday. Rorschach was right-- to a degree. Instead of my 360 RRing, my PC seems to have bit the dust. Anyway, I'm around all day today so let me know here in the thread when you're available.

Well, I am available now, but I'm no sure for how long. I'm waiting for a phone call from my parents, then I have to go get my son. Also, my lovely wife made last minute plans for us today, so I'm not sure how much I'll be around the rest of the day. I'll sign on to XBL now (and probably play some Rock Band), so msg me if you see this anytime soon.

Hey Shawn I dunno what happened at the end there. 5 seconds left and the game started pausing and unpasing, saying "Continue vs. CPU?" I thought my 360 was about to RROD! 0_o

So, I couldn't get the stats other than the score, 24-10 Packers. gg, your blitz packages are insane.

GGs Rors and Livewire.... dunno what happened at the end of our game Livewire but I lost my connection to you...

Not playing Madden for weeks at a time between league games has had a big effect on my game. Last season, I played almost daily but time has been hard to come by with all the stuff I have going on. Even playing a league game once a week would help out my rhythm, but we all know how flaky people/360s have been this year...

BTW, I'm all for PS3 leagues for '09 if the game is 60 fps.
