If anyone sees Gunstar they might want to remind him it's his pick. I don't know how often he checks the thread since he doesn't post in it often. Also, Sable..better start narrowing it down!

edit: ah he just posted above me. I guess he's on top of things. If you want to PM me your top two picks that would probably make this process go faster.

Would be helpful to some if the divisions get drawn out with the potential owners to each team? I'm sure some would hate to get into a division like the NFC east this past season.

I think we should just use real NFL divisions... for a different schedule, FMT could just use one from the last few years..

(unless we're short on teams, of course)

i already confirmed we are using real NFL schedules. and no need to revert back to an old schedule as i have a generator which will allow me to generate an accurate NFL "2008" season (if the real NFL were to finish in the same manner that we did.... which is impossible since the real life 49ers will finish 2-14)

I played a random ranked game with my Broncos against a cheeser using the Chargers. 42-17 me. Needless to say, I really like my new team. It's nice to have a good secondary, though I really do miss Reggie Bush's speed. Travis Henry has a speed rating of 90, but compared to Bush, it feels like I'm running with Jamal Lewis.

How long are we expecting this to take? I agree it would be nice if people PMd picks when it nears their pick

(Also, to the powers that be, it would be nice to see the available teams combined into the posts that show the picks to date... I've got a good idea where I'll be leaning, but I'd hate to overlook someone).

Since you all love Madden so much, not one, not two, not three, but four people told me that Gunstar took the Packers. Here is the updated list. I made it extra special and included the teams remaining (A-Z too, I spoil you guys)..Hopefully it can stay updated with all the relevant info. 29-32 are a bit foggy, but I'm tired and we have plenty of time to sort that out.

Oh well, I guess there's gotta be something to play... Halo 3, maybe... or VF5GH3CoD4OrangeBoxorsomething.

EDIT: Looking at that list, my preliminary question is what non-Seattle NFC West team will I end up selecting??? Or will I throw myself a curveball?

EDIT2: And I presume Rors is going to stick with the Raiders? No?

Sorry guys went to bed without sending my top 2 to fifty. Anyways to speed things up I'll take the only other team I've played with... the [edit removed]. Their defense is going to be a challenge.

Edit: If nobody saw that I'll switch my pick to the bears.

Give me an hour or two to decide on my team. This run of NFC North teams has really thrown off my draft board. :D

If you liked Peterson, you would definitely like Reggie Bush. He's pretty insane in this game. Defense is a little bad, but still. Carolina is still available as well, another good choice.

Hey why don't you shut the fuck up! They won't last to me anyway but maybe someone else was hoping for them.

That said I am pretty sure the team I want is the one you initially put down. ;)

I think the most important thing this year is having a good OLine. A D you can always pretty much fabricate, a running game is easy when you have the blocking, and if you lob it up even the worst receivers can make the catch. That's why it's impressive to me that Rors had the success he did with a not so good OLine AND a mediocre set of receivers.

I have no idea. Griese is the starter by default, so I'll probably go with that. Haven't played with them enough to decide really. Grossman does have a cannon arm still right? If so I might actually use him. Who would you recommend?

Grossman does still have the cannon, so that's nice for the deep passes. Griese is more accurate though, but has very little throw power. Either way, I would not recommend using Grossman first because his cannon arm will spoil you compared to Griese.

I gave up on the Broncos doing anything long ago. Too many injuries and it got even worse yesterday. Hopefully everyone else beats them 44-7 and we get a great draft pick.
