I want a place where we can enjoy playing with fellow GAFers and get in some great matches while we do it. Hopefully we can get enough people playing that there can be a night everyone gets together to play.

Battlefield Dos and Don'ts

Run! Don't linger in the same spot, or you'll be a sitting duck!

Shoot! Characters without name tags are enemies. Shoot or be Shot!

Connect! Coordinate with your comrades via SOP, chat, and preset messages.

Respect! You're playing with real people. Respect them and fight a good fight.

Enjoy! The most important rule: Enjoy your battle!

Also can we get the GAF squads together in this topic as well? Playing against each other should get our designated leaders high enough. That and get a list of the different NeoGAF "Animal" Units. Dont really have to be coast designated. The last beta squads werent yet we managed to show up at the same time most of the time.


For in game clan invites and friend list, you only need the character name, nothing else.

Also nice on using the manual do's and dont's :D

I dunno if they are going to do that this time around. Looked kinda wierd to have NeoGAF Unit, then the rest had animal names. Kinda nice to go with different animal themes dont you think?

Oh and the Konami and Game ID's arent needed, just the Character name.

No squads up yet, everyone is still either playing SP or getting situated in MGO. I think we'll have em up by this weekend though. Oh and...

CQC complete guide. Im betting you can do all these moves in MGO as well. Disarming seems new. Would be cool to pat-jack enemies items too.

I had my first time being Snake in sneaking mode and I had no idea how to turn invisible. Does anyone know how to do it? Unless I'm going crazy, I'm pretty sure I've seen people do it before.

You have to let the octocamo take effect. I think you'll only be invisible if you're lying on the ground or hugging a wall.

That was me alright :D I've ran into a few other gaffers today while I've been playing. You guys should watch out for Ccrook/Downplay, he's a beast with the sniper rifles.

OP says Otacon, but that's like the most populated server.. we should probably go to one of the lesser used ones so there's no worry about it being full.

I'm online now in some random room on Otacon and I really have no idea how to even play this properly. Tell me if anyone makes a GAF game.

I guess NeoGAF Fox Unit, NeoGAF Frog Unit, NeoGAF Rabbit Unit (for somewhat casual MGO players) and whatever other animal that would fit with the rankings.

Should there be a normal NeoGAF server? there was in the beta.

I was part of Fox Unit in the beta, so I might go back to that one if there isn't a regular squad.

Since I'll prolly end up making a clan first, I was just going to go with NeoGAF, remaking it as the primary/main clan just as it was during the beta.

OPer needs to just pick a random server and add it to OP and i will start hosting gaf rooms in there. and so can everyone else so we always have some
