Downs???!??!?! Downs?!!? Downs?!?! My God, Gibbons what the hell are you doing. You have got to be ****ing kidding me.

Oh thank God, Downs got the job done without blowing it. I guess he is the new left handed specialist.

Please don't blow it Accardo, or Halladay may have to kill you. God damn it, I said do not **** this up.

Dont blame Lurch, where the hell is the offense? Did I miss something, do the Brewers have nothing but Cy Young award winners on their starting rotation? Dodgers might as well forget about winning the N.L West or the Wild Card becuase they cant win a ****ing game on the road to save their lives.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Oh great bases loaded, take Accardo out already Gibbons.

And there goes the game, fire Gibbons now, who did not see taht coming.

GRAND SLAM ACCARDO!

Woooooooooooo

Ok. Gill...seriously, it's time to stop caring.

Oh well, another season lost. Hopefully next year we don't have a complete retard as our manager.

you can put another pathetic offensive display on the board

yes

WOOO! Atleast the Rookies are playing like they give a damn, Matt Kemp showing off the arm with the outfield assist.

P.S. Lugo Sucks! Give back Ramon Martinez's playing time.

The "MVP" strikes out with the bases juiced against a frikken Royals relief pitcher :lol

They would have crucified A-Rod if he did that :lol

God, we've got Perez starting the second game tomorrow. Why don't we just give you guys the victory now and save us both the fatugue.

the twins are 55-25 in their last 80 games (give or take a game) and the white sox are gonna let them in the playoffs.

This post from another forum is so very accurate:

****ing White Sox. They only score if they're behind a bunch of runs it seems, and when we score, lately its usually not enough. So I guess the secret to beating the White Sox is scoring 1 run preferably late in the game and then they will never score.

Don't worry White Sox fans, I mean, any team would get shut down by an ace like Gabbard who had a 6.35 era and was 0-3 and only pitched 11 innings all season before the game today. He may even be better then by pitching phenom and future Hall-of-Famer ace Tavarez!

Also, don't worry about the lack of offense because tomorrow well probably score 25 runs! Then score 2 runs over the next 3 games.

If Tavarez and Gabbard get another start, they'll probably only last 3 innings and give up at least 4 runs each. Boy do I love watching everyone in our lineup including Podsednik swing for the fences!

However, we still have a series with the Twins left, and our hitting can't stay this bad. So, I'm cautiously optimistic.
And I also do expect us to score like 27 runs tomorrow.

p.s. THIS IS A SINKING SHIP

Ugh, if the Dodgers cant win tonight.. we're toast. Plain and simple, we're not playing well enough to beat the Mets and that could lead to as much as 7 losses in a row. Shome some sack and buckle down fellas, or your miraculous turnaround will just end up being a 360.

Why the hell is TBS out again?! Trying to catch the damn Mets/Braves game.
Lucky you. I get to hear the Braves announcers talk about how tacky all the auto repair places across from Shea look.

Seriously, you want to talk about bitter, look no further than these guys.

Are you still going on about that? :lol

Not my fault that they can't seem to stop taking random potshots every few minutes. I'm trying to watch baseball here, the least they can do is call the game professionally.

Ignoring the announcers, this game has been pretty good. I'm really digging the pitching battle we got going.

Edit: Delgado go deep?

:lol

I thought it was funny how he said something like "that's how the new Mets stadium is supposed to look" when they showed the artists drawing of it.

Then he said "yeah, it'll look like that for about a month.....until the people start showing up."

:lol

Anyway, Smoltz left that ball up for Delgado and he killed it. Good game, but if you can't take out Williams in the first several innings then you're leaving yourself an uphill battle against the Met bullpen.

I'm usually comfortable with any kind of lead, but I'm uneasy today for some reason. Maybe it's because this game is a must-win with Perez pitching game 2. Getting swept is not an option.

Well, whoever PTBNL ends up being, it was a fantastic trade.

*sigh*

McBride has just started the NY version of the Lazer Show. Man, this season can't end soon enough.
