Poor White Sox fans.. The way the White Soz are playing these days, it's like they don't wanna go back to playoffs.

Mariners on the other hand, need to move to a different divison or league. Preferably the NL West. Anywhere, but the AL west.. ANYWHERE!

Who is this color commentator for the Cards/Stros game on ESPN?

What the hell is he talking about? Why won't he just shut up? I don't think he has put together one coherent thought all night.

Me jinxing the Mets so they clinch at home was a different matter than what Cloudy does. I never jinx other teams.

Psyduck?

Thats Miguel,Ive never posted a pic of that duck.

edit- i didnt mean you were a curse, though you might be.

I meant both you and Konex seem to be the only die hard sports fans that like anime that post here.

Routinely?

I've posted it like 5 times since last year, and it's a fitting image. Psylidge is a headcase.

did Sexson really hit 4 hrs in a game today? The ticker on ESPN says he did, but they didn't mention it on Baseball Tonight, and only gave him credit for two on "Touch'em All".

Jim Tracy is a bastard! He came to L.A and wooped the Dodgers asses for 2 games and is now having his team roll over for the Padres.

sorry had to quote myself :P

:lol @ Konex

Man I have mixed emotions.

As a Baseball fan it sucks that he didnt get the no-hitter,but I'm also a fan of watching Konex crush the hopes and dreams of players, fans and teams.

What? I saw PsyRoethlisberger a couple of days ago.

And Konex's epic crushing of the Giants momentum still haunts me to this day...

And siamese, Mets are not even playing their starters anymore. They clinched eons ago, check todays' lineup.

Well the Dodgers record against the Mets are 3 wins out of 7, so if the Dodgers win the Wild Card we face the mighty Mets!
Am I the only Met fan who wants no part of the Dodgers? Seriously, Maddux could turn into old Maddux, and I don't like the fact that the Dodgers offense has so much variety to it.

Ehh you shouldn't worried about the Dodgers Offense right now, very enigma. Our starting pitching is fine though but out setup guys are pretty unreliable lately except Saito.

i got selected for yankee playoff tickets! *HIGH FIVE*

Finally, all the champagne bottles and beer cans drained -- not many down throats -- the Yankees showered, dressed and headed for St. Petersburg, Fla.

They left behind a clubhouse that will reek of champagne for a while, probably through the weekend -- when the Red Sox play in Toronto.

"The best thing is, Boston has to come in here next," Yankees reliever Kyle Farnsworth said. "It's the smell of victory they've got to smell. You can print that."

Kyle Farnsworth is a disgusting piece of horse dung and will blow many games in the playoffs.

Kyle's problem comes
back to haunt him

BY ANTHONY McCARRON
DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER

ST. PETERSBURG - While the Yankees got good news from the most important pitcher in their bullpen last night when Mariano Rivera returned to the mound, Rivera's primary setup man, Kyle Farnsworth, had another ominous back flareup that the Yankees hope doesn't recur during October.

Farnsworth was going to pitch the eighth inning last night, but his back locked up for at least the fifth time this season. Bullpen coach Joe Kerrigan saw Farnsworth wince several times, Farnsworth said, and told him not to pitch.

"I could've gone out and pitched, but better safe than sorry," Farnsworth said. "I was throwing, I felt fine. It's the same thing it's been doing before. I've pitched with it and I've pitched without it. It's not a big deal."

"The good news is it's happened before," Joe Torre said. "The bad news is, it happened again. I guess it's always a threat. Hopefully the fact that it happened now means it won't happen again for a month or so."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
