And I knew it would happen to Garland. Last year his BABIP and other peripherals indicated he was ridiculously lucky.

I didn't expect him to be as good, but he could at least return to his previous form and be at least decent. He's fucking terrible this year.

Walker needs two outs.

I predict six walks before the two outs.

EDIT: IT BEGINS :lol :lol

Oh man Tampa needs a bullpen.

Lidge doesnt know how to have a 1-2-3 inning anymore *sigh*

Phew Stros won,Lidge almost blew that shit again :|

Zambrano sucks this year. WTF Big Z. :(

I wonder if it'll be June before he gets his first win.

WANTED:

Someone to help broker a trade with Mrbob and I of Carlos Zambrano for Victor Zambrano. RIGHT NOW. No questions asked. You'll get paid after the trade is done. Bring your own weapons. Safety not guaranteed from Yankee fans. I have only done this once before..

How about the Tigers?

They outscored the Twins 33-1 over the 3 game series this weekend. Talk about an old fashioned ass whooping.

No one probably cares though; I haven't seen any Tigers love in this thread.

Despite their record, they're still just the 3rd best team in the division =p

Braves WIN!!! :(

Hats off to Francoeur none the less, sweet catch.
If he misses that ball its real scary after that.

Eh screw it. Mets take 2 out of 3,and go 6-3 on their road trip and return to good old Shea tomorrow. I can live with that.:D

Oh god.. Lance Carter is a god damn joke. Come on Baez, you better not blow this shit...

Motherfuckers... 5-5 now. Please at least get Roberts out and send this fucker to extra innings...

that was the most disgusting baseball game ive ever seen in my life... fucking padres fans cheering and shit as if their teams skill had anything to do with that bullshit

WOW! How does Little allow Carter to load the bases before taking him out? Baez's performance was even more disgusting, damn I feel sick!

Grady Little not taking out a pitcher when he's done? That's unheard of!

Leave 'em in Little mixed with the awful Dodgers bullpen is scary as hell. I'm sorry for you Dodgers fans. Gagne can't come back soon enough.

It's worse than that, I dont see a reason why he keeps going to Carter at all. Dude hasnt shown he can get out of an inning without giving up atleast a couple runs.

I know, when I saw him come in I was dying inside and then bam the bases were loaded. He has an ERA of almost 8 now and has no business pitching. Get rid of him, NOW!

According to the Venezuelan daily newspaper Lider, marijuana was found in Freddy Garcia's urine in a test administered during the World Baseball Classic.
Garcia was told of the positive test last week, according to the report. He can be suspended from international baseball for two years because of the positive test, but it's not going to have any effect on his major league status.

:lol :lol :lol

I wish it was Garland and he got suspended.

At some point, the Reds come back to reality, right? That team is not that good.

I can't believe Brandon Phillips is actually hitting the ball for them. We (Indians) gave that guy about 10 shots at the bigs.

May is the cruelest month for lots of baseball teams. Reality sets in and hot starts turn into just that- a hot start.

May will probably be very cruel to these teams: Cincinatti, Mets, Rockies, and the Cubs. They're just not as good as the starts they're off to.

And the Braves will right the ship in May. You heard it here first, ladies.

I'd also add the Tigers to that list, though I'd love to be wrong.
No, the Tigers are going to be good all season long. They won't win the division and they probably won't win the wild card, but NOBODY is gonna want to play them. Jim Leyland is a damn good manager.

I don't see how their starting pitching is going to hold up. Much like I don't see how the Reds bullpen is going to.

? Rogers is solid if not spectacular, Bonderman is going to be really good one day, Maroth is a decent third starter, and Verlander throws fire. Now I know that not every team has four number one starters and Jon Garland, but I think the Tigers will be just fine with what they've got, Em.

:lol :lol Garland needs to die so McCarthy can start.

I still don't think Bonderman is that good, and Verlander is going to get lit up, me thinks. Especially since they have to play Chicago and Cleveland so much. Not exactly bad hitting teams.

I do like Maroth a lot though.

*shrugs* Yeah, but they get 19 freebies against the Royals. I bet every team in the AL East and West is jealous of that.

Bonderman has been kind of ass so far, but he'll come around. He's still young. And Verlander is a bad ass. You're just jealous. :lol

Why be jealous of Verlander when we have McCarthy waiting in the wings?

I just wish we could have someone not named Matt Thornton in our bullpen
