Seriously. 9 Ks! How often does he spin one of those?

Also.. sucks for Matsui. I thought he was immortal for a while.

Nice, Bernie.

Do you believe he is on the 200 million dollar team? Bernie is an abomination in the field.

Jeter's throw sucked ass, but it was his only option. Bernie needs to just be...put away so that Joe can't use him.

Timlin is getting squeezed.

Wow, back to back Ks for Timlin. His corpse is having another good year.

Tony will probably bring him out for the 8th and he'll give up a bomb.

FUCK RAIN
FUCK RAIN
FUCK RAIN
FUCK RAIN
FUCK RAIN
FUCK RAIN

I actually like rain if it's hot or whatever, but don't fuck with baseball if it's not in the Met's favor! >:P

Here is why I am loving the Arroyo trade for the Reds:

The more NL batters see him, the less they seem to like him. Arroyo has now faced three teams twice -- the Nationals, Cubs and Cardinals. In those second-look games, he is 2-0 and has given up only one earned run in 24 innings.

Griffey's three-run walkoff bomb in extra innings was pretty awesome tonight.
Yeah, but nothing tops Aaron Rowand's Catch of Xtreme Awesomeness. Crazy fucker was going full speed into that wall.

Yeah, that's probably the web gem of the year. He smashed his fuckin' nose making that play.

All is set for the Dodgers to go into the record books with Barroid Bonds once again. 714 Tommorow, you guys better be watching!

I mean to say Everett > Crede... you're amazing 3rd baseman ;)

If the world was fair they'd both win gold gloves this year like they deserve to :)

He plays his ass off every play of every game

OH GOD I MISS YOU AARON.
I'm glad I got a video of the reception you got at the ring ceremony. Easily the loudest I've ever heard The Cell, and most likely the loudest it will ever be. You were my second favorite player on the Sox after Paulie. I'll never forget your plays at Yankee stadium the year we won it all. Maybe you can come back to us somehow in the future =(

If anyone cares to see that video: http://angrygodofjebus.com/rc/aaron.avi

and if you didn't see the play: If you didn't see his play: http://angrygodofjebus.com/ohaaron.mpg

This last week has been terrible for the Stros...good thing they finally won yesterday.

Bastards lost the game I went to :(

I got to the stadium with Link, CK and his posse, and Astros were already down 6-0 :(

That big prospect for the Phillies starts tonight versus the Reds if the weather holds up. Dude has some sick stats. Has given up 2 HRs in 195 minor league innings :lol

My God, the Devil Rays sure do own the Blue Jays, it doesn't matter who the Jays field, we still suck against them.

Chien-Ming Wang just pitched a beautiful game into the 8th. He used like 85 pitches.

Mo is gonna come on now. Hooray.

P.S. Doesn't Low look really strange? Like down syndrome + giantism.

Mets loose again.:(
The pitching is looking weak right now.
Tomorrow is AAA pitcher Jerimi Gonzalez,no?
Hmmm(hopes for the best.)
Damn I want Bannister back already.

First 3 game loosing streak of the year, hopefully their last.

No Lima Time? :(

Well to play devils advocate for a moment.... he did great tonight. His fastball was hitting corners (at his 95-96 mph velocity) and his slider was just nasty. He had his first 1-2-3 inning of this year tonight (he pitched the 7th when we had a 4 run lead). If these non pressure outings let him get his command back then I'm all for it. Lidge is only effective if he's throwing his fastball for strikes, makes his slider SOOOO much more effective.

MWAHAHA.

Lidge!
too bad Calder gets to leech one more save off of him...but he's mine now! :)
Yep all yours! :D

Now if Abreu gets traded the the Yankees, greatest fantasy trade of the year. As long as I ignore Street's unpleasant pitching lately.... hey at least he's doing better than Lidge. ;) But come on Yanks, you need to fill that OF hole and the Phillies are desperate to trade Abreu! Make it happen!

Seriously Grady.. why do you lift Penny after throwing a 2-hitter over 5 innings while only throwing 87 pitches. Wtf!

His back stiffened up in the cold San Frandicso air. Nice to see our bullpen hold once again, that speed at the beginning of the line-up continues to pay off and NOMAH is still en fuego!

Yeah I figured it must have been something like that and saw it in the post game recap story. I'm praying we can keep Bonds homerless for the next few games... I don't want 714 happening against us. No sir.

Ha, leave it to ESPN to have a live look-in on a perfect game bid and then have the next batter break it up. Terrible. Doesn't anyone know the rule about no-hitters/perfect games? Jesus!

It was PERFECT timing, you never tease the no-hitter!

Nail-Biting Billy is making things interesting in Milwaukee. Actually, Wright is, but I want to blame Billy anyway.

Halliday is back to his old dominating self, he pitched very well tonight and we finally beat the Devil Rays. I don't like our chances for tommorrow though with Towers pitching.

This years Cubs honestly might be the most pathetic team I've ever watched.

San Diego loads the bases and score two runs without a batter even making contact. How, you ask? Back to back Wild pitches!

Anyone else watch the Braves-Nats game earlier today? It was on at the gym and I caught LaRoche's huge blunder of not hustling to first base to get the batter out. What should have been an easy inning turned into Washington scoring four extra runs. Whoops.

Eddie Vedder being a complete dick to Casper and Brenly in the booth made my day. He so did not want to be there, and totally made Brenly look like an idiot.
