Ugh, Francona is so goddamn dumb. Again he has the getaway day lineup in effect. We have Clement on the mound (who stinks and needs run support), so he goes and sits Lowell and Loretta. That makes a whole lot of sense.

Way to go, you dope.
 
If the Jays don't sweep this series than they will never sweep a series. Everything seems to be perfect Crawford out, Waechter hasn't won a game since last August, and Chacin on the mound.

Somebody tell Clement it's the 3rd inning. He should be getting shelled about now. Someone at least bounce a lineshot off his person or something.
 
Rios is a double machine. Molina was probably happy that a was a ground rule double and he didn't have to turn on the jets. 4 - 0 Jays.

Swear to God,I had my back turned with the tv muted when I wrote my previous unedited post, then I read that Wright went deep again. Just crazy things happening today.
 
Damn it we will never sweep a series. Oh well I guess winning the series is good enough. Alteast the Yankees are losing too.

These Mets are unreal.

It's nearly impossible to win two extra inning games in a row. Oh well, a successful homestand all in all. Now they've got a really tough road trip coming up.
 
Fun game,too bad the Mets couldn't pull it out.

Now...the biggest test of the season coming up.
A 10 game road trip at the Dodgers,DBacks,,and Phillies.
Home to Baltimore,Cincinatti
Back on the road against Toronto,Boston,NewYork.

1st place will definately be earned after going through that obstacle course.

It seems as if it'll never happen. Maybe in august! We have no chance at winning the division if we choke every damn time we get near a sweep. It's pathetic!
 
Bases loaded and the Dodgers score 1 run. Weak! Come on JD... where's the clutch hitting? We need Nomar. :(

Good outing for Baez there.. solid performance by Sele -- he deserved to be in a position to get a win.
