One down, two to go. Watch out NL the Cubs are making a run.

:lol

Janssen is about to get his revenge on the Orioles and prove why he is the number 2 starter on the Blue Jays. Please for the love of God Blue Jays, do not make Benson dominate you again.

And Burnett is coming back June 22nd for the last game against Atlanta.

Could the mystery injury be that he sucks ass?

Hopefully they sent him away before he contaminated the only 2 reliable bullpen pitchers we have.

Also, Chris Burke dislocated his shoulder while swinging and missing against Sean Marshall today :lol :lol

The swing looked horrendous when he took it, and he got pulled from the game because of it, but I didn't think he actually hurt himself that bad.

3 times he's hurt the same shoulder now and doing it on a swing is bad news, surgery is coming :(

Meh these things happen, I know someone who dislocated their shoulder swinging a badminton racquet.

LETS TALK ABOUT STEROIDS

How soon until the unedited versions are available?

And taken from another forum:

If anyone's interested, some other big named hitters who Grimsley played with their rookie or close to rookie seasons (outside of Thome and Manny) are Jeromy Burnitz (who isn't really a big name but before joining the Indians his career high for dingers was 13 and the season after he played with Grimsley he hit 27), Brian Giles, Carlos Beltran, and Alfonso Soriano. It's all speculation but it's certainly interesting. Now i know how internet detectives feel

He also played with Wilson Delgado (who is currently suspended for steroids) in 2001 with the Royals as well as the aforementioned Rafael Palmeiro and Sammy Sosa.

AJ Burnett may be a wuss, but he's not a bad pitcher.

True, he has good stuff but he is as soft as butter. But even if he is an average .500 pitcher in the AL East he will make us better.

$2 on Soriano being juiced, but that may just be from my hatred of him.

Dan Patrick on his radio show said he got 4 of the names, and 2 were suprising.

And the guy that shut out the Cubs...it was his first ML start. He pitched well in relief when Wandy shit the bed, so he seemingly got rewarded with a start, which worked out well with Roy going on the DL

edit: and in that blacked out document, there is clearly a J at the beginning of one of them. Please say it ain't so, Thome

The top paragraph looks like Bonds. And maybe "Helton had a doctor in Colorado who supplied him with amphetamines"?

So who is this cat that shut out the Cubs?

28 year old rookie. Was a position player originally in the minors. Retired from baseball for 3 years, and when he came back, the Astros organization converted him to pitcher.

Well you figure Pujols is out, Edmonds still isn't healthy, Carpenter just came back....but yeah, their offense has looked like shit since Pujols went down. Their bullpen outside of Izzy is still extremely good.

The Cardinals really aren't that good.

The pain begins anew..... The Reds are once again helping St. Louis reach second place. The Cardinals are falling apart and I am enjoying every moment!

Oh god, our bullpen is terrible. You don't really appreciate Jannsen's work until the bullpen takes over. Please no more runs. :(

Rich Aurillia just launched a homer... the Reds are now officially abusing the Cards, 7-0. Two shutouts in a row? A possibility....

QFMFT. :( ****ing Frasor, he's lucky I was watching hockey and only caught glimpses of his oh-so-typical sucking. I don't even want to know what the hell happened to Speier, 2 walks 1 hit no outs? Ugh.

I'm trying to resist jumping all over the Casey Janssen bandwagon for a while longer, I've been hurt before. ;) But he's looked damn good the majority of his starts.

Woo, that was a close one. They're expecting rain tomorrow, but if the game is played, Halladay is on the mound, so I'm thinking we can take this series. Very nice win. 4-5 from Wells ain't too shabby.

I said earlier in this thread that the Cardinals are a .500/sub .500 team with Pujols. It seems the last three nights have proven me correct. Pujols is just that damn good. He'd make the fraking Royals into a good team LOL..

Okay, maybe not.

Well at least that bum Dontrelle threw a decent game tonight. Hopefully he'll quit dragging down my fantasy team.....

"You say that to my face."

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think Martinez as he currently pitches would be as dominant as he is in the NL in the AL East.

Funny... And yet most of the best hitters in the past 10 years have been in the NL. Good luck pitchers...

As nebulous a claim as this is, you would deny that the NL lineups are overall considerably weaker?

Jump onto the bandwagon Calder

there is room for one more.

I doubt Janssen is a fluke, he has only been getting better. Other than Roberts double most of the hits today were ground balls and he hasn't been giving up homers. Also he has been the most consistent started not named Halladay, all three of Towers, Chacin and Lilly have been roughed up in some of their starts.

I'm on the Janssen bandwagon, picked him up in my money league and he's been ripping shit up for me! I also managed to snag Liriano off of the waiver wire in that league too! :lol

The EDGE with a 2-Run blast to dead center!!!

NY Mets -- 9
Dodgers --6

He ain't go-wing nowhere
He ain't... goin' no-where,
he CANNOT BE STOPPED NOW,
'cause it's Lastings for life!!!

Another good win against Detroit. 5-0 against them so far this season, and we go for the sweep tomorrow.
I'd be confident in getting that sweep if it wasn't for Garland pitching
