I would be really pissed right now if it wasn't for the fact that we lost to a former cy young winners Mike Thompson and Chan Ho Park . :lol 5 Straight losses to the ****ing Padres! I expect Billingsley to pitch well but our offense is stuck somewhere on the freeway so It wont matter. How long before Little drops Furcal out of the lead off spot, how about Aybar? Drew is a complete bust aswell, where is the power? How bout that bullpen? What a ****in joke our bullpen has become. =\... BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

WHERE'S MY ****ING CORONA!!!!

I almost wanna say something about a certain team down in Atlanta but I know better, don't wanna jinx the Amazin's.

Instead I'll just say that we need more wins like this so we can *hang tough* and contend for a wildcard.:)

Btw-I loved those M.V.P. chants when Wright came up,even Philly fans couldn't drown those cheers out. "Lets Go Mets" chants never ever get old either.

Hey Mets the Dodgers think you have suffered enough and we will galdly take Dirrrty Sanchez back for Jae Seo, Odalis Perez and we will even throw in Furcal. :lol

I went apeshit the day that trade went down. You rebuild youre bullpen and who do you get? Duaner Sanchez...damn. :)

Last year when Gagne went down I saw how nasty Sanchez was in the closer's role-I admired his stuff. I dunno what the Dodgers were thinking when they traded that stud away but for once we got the good end of a pitching deal. It still doesn't make up for the Kazmir trade from a few years back but its a start but still its good to see the organization knows how to go about making trades now.

Hey I hope Jae Seo gets it together dude, there was a time when I use to call him a poor man's Greg Maddux,he can really string some wins together at times. This year though he looks lost, maybe it'll take a year just to settle into LA I dunno.

I always liked Sanchez and no one here in L.A seems to have any clue why they traded him away. He stumbled a bit when he was moved to setup man and back to closer around the time when Brazoban lost it. Seo looked good in his first 5-7 starts and then he fell apart, he was injured in his last outing from bullpen supposedly but the Dodgers haven't put him on the D.L.

With the White Sox down 6-0 in the seventh, reliever Sean Tracey was pulled after retiring the only batter he faced, Hank Blalock, Wednesday night against the Rangers.
Tracey was supposed to drill Blalock after A.J. Pierzynski was plunked twice earlier in the contest, but he either didn't know it or he blew it. Manager Ozzie Guillen removed him after the out and gave him quite a talking to in the dugout. Jun. 15 - 12:11 am et

And now Tracey has been recalled to AAA. I like Ozzie for retaliating right away, but he has no right to throw a rookie under the bus. That's downright shitty.

The guy has no ****ing control as it is, and you ask him to hit someone? He probably would have if you told him to throw strikes.

Wow, that's awful if true. Poor kid.

Shawn Estes says the kid has no guts.

****ING BITCH ASS DODGERS!!! Kemps slams one to tie it up and they just give it back! **** I'm about to smash my face against the wall!

You'd think moving to a 8-5 schedule would mean I'd be watching MORE astros games...:(

I keep falling asleep when I get home now.

This is the first thing he's done that i absolutely don't like. Then again, we can't know for sure if that is how it happened, but it certainly looks that way.

After winning the World Series though, Ozzie will always be a hero to me.

edit: the full story:

White Sox rookie pitcher Sean Tracey got into hot water with his manager Ozzie Guillen -- for getting an out.

Tracey was summoned to start the seventh inning and got Hank Blalock to ground out, but getting an out might not have been the reason Tracey was brought into the game. White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski was hit by two pitches in the game and a source told the Chicago Sun-Times that Tracey was told to hit Blalock as retaliation. Tracey threw two inside pitches to Blalock before getting him to ground out.

After getting the out, Tracey was removed from the game. Guillen slammed a water bottle to the ground when Blalock grounded out and the manager then brought Agustin Montero in to pitch. Guillen was then seen in the dugout barking at Tracey, who pulled the collar of his jersey over his head.

Guillen didn't address why he screamed at Tracey and had a different explanation why he took the rookie out of the game.

"I tried to get Montero ready [to face Blalock] and wasn't able to. It was a little late," Guillen explained. "It was my mistake. I didn't get him up quick enough. I didn't want Tracey in that situation."

Tracey refused comment.

A source told the Sun-Times that Tracey was informed he was being demoted to Triple-A after the game. "Ozzie went nuts,'' one source told the newspaper.

Pierzynski was hit by pitches his first two at-bats, prompting home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi to issue warnings to both benches in the fourth.

"I don't know what the deal was. He had pretty good control and then he runs two first pitches in on me," Pierzynski said. `Why did he do it? You're going to have to ask him. I faced him maybe two times in the National League."

Vicente Padilla didn't comment after the game.

CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox have acquired veteran right-handed pitcher David Riske from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for left-handed pitcher Javier Lopez and optioned right-handed pitcher Sean Tracey to Class AAA Charlotte.
Riske, 29, was 0-1 with a 3.72 ERA (4 ER/9.2 IP) in eight relief appearances with the Red Sox in 2006. The right-hander was acquired by Boston as part of a six-player trade with Cleveland on January 27.

On one hand, he has to be better than Tracey/any number of other AAA players we've tried, but I wanted to see Lopez pitch in the majors before just shipping him off.

I would have rather seen Tavarez or Seanez go. Riske Business didn't even really get a chance in Boston. It seems that he only made a few appearances, went on the DL, and then got traded.

Tavarez would be great for Ozzie. He could be the designated head hunter.

I'm sure he's exciting to have around, but he has all the qualities that make him abrasive and dangerous in the clubhouse. He's the anti-torre.

He's also the anti-torre on the field, though...he can at least manage.

Damn you Mig, and we're starting to heat up too! Oh wait, maybe that's the reason why? That must be it... okay, continuing your routine of sleeping ;)

Ryan comes in and shuts the door. Good start by Lilly almost ruined by the bullpen but they were able to hold the fort until Ryan came in. Hmm thats 3 wins in a row, so that must mean we will lose the next game. Hopefully Taubenheim can pitch well and we can finally win 4 in a row and he can finally get his first win.

Solid performance. Ryan is money as usual. This upcoming series is big. Big because it's against the freaking Marlins....and the Jays can really take advantage here and keep trying to catch up to BOS/NY, plus after the Marlins series we've got the Mets coming up..so a sweep here would be very useful as insurance.

Oh A-Rod, how much you suck when it counts.....

He's tired after that garbage time homerun earlier. Just be lucky Cairo stole second, otherwise he woulda found a way to GIDP

Its too bad everytime we win the Yankees and the Sox usually win as well. Clevelands shitty bullpen is about to blow a 5 run lead to the Yanks. Wait Rodriguez striked out, I guess I should have suspected that, it was a clutch situation. Posada strikes out as well, inning over.

someone tell the blue jays they cant hang with the big boys. their 2nd half collapes will be priceless.

im half-kidding, just trying to bring some life to this thread, its pretty boring

You know what's sad? I actually, without joking whatsoever, thought of this when Cairo stole second. How many times can a person hit into a double play when it counts? It's ****ing amazing!

Randy Johnson was suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount for intentionally throwing at the Indians' Eduardo Perez on Wednesday night. Yankees manager Joe Torre was also suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount for Johnson's actions after the teams were warned.

Very lame that something like that gets those two suspended, yet Padilla blatently hits Pierzynski twice and won't get in any kind of trouble.

Lidge with a 1-2-3 save :o and the stros sweep the scrubs...

must not get too excited........ JUNE MOTHERF-ING 22!

taking the bait, and ignoring your spoiler tagged disclaimer.. the Jays are 1 game back of the Yankees despite 3/5ths of their starting rotation out with injury / suckage. They are 7-4 against the Red Sox and 2-3 against the Yankees. They also haven't had the luxury of facing the Royals yet (against whom the Yankees are 5-1). AJ Burnett's coming back next week, and hopefully that'll set the rotation with Halladay, Burnett, Lilly, Janssen, and someone else until Chacin gets back. Couple that with our suddenly monster offence, with Rios, Wells, and Glaus being arguably the best hitters in the AL at RF, CF, and 3B this season, and the Jays are going to be hanging with Sox and Yankees throughout the season.

Game over. Mets sweep. 9-1 road trip completed.

Simply amazing-they put on quite a show by facing 1st and 2nd place teams and coming home with that 9-1 road record. It feels good to return to good ole Shea. David Wright is a beast. His D is superb lately and the guy is hitting the ball everywhere. Its time to lock this guy up,give him a 10 year contract already. He should be a NEW YORK MET for a very long time representing the good ole Blue and Orange baby.

Solid first outing for Billingsley today -- 6 hits in 5.1 innings and only 2 runs given up. Not to mention knocking in a 2-run single to take the early lead. Shame he isn't going to get the win any longer but come on Jeff, blow this one open with a grand salami!

We'll take a 2-run double instead and then an intentional walk to Kemp to loaded the bases... Killer Tomato coming up to hit a pinch hit grand slam instead!

And you were doing so well.

Even if he is average, I rather have him pitching than Josh "Faulty Control" Towers. Of course, he could get injured again, knowing our luck its pretty likely.

I should kill you for that comment.

I'm not joking

Dodger's record > Astro's
Therefore, Dodger's Killer B's > Astros Killer B's

BTW... just in case anyone gets the wild idea to read the team forums for the MLB teams, DON'T. Man, what a ****ing cesspool those are.

Same with the ESPN forums. Talk about garbage posts and posters.

Yeah, but how many of those Killer B's are going to end up in the HOF?

Edit: man, our interleague schedule is brutal this year. Outside of KC, we play the Sox, Twins, Tigers, Rangers. Those are going to be some awesome interleague games to watch though.
