Soriano is such a hacker.

Snyder has given him the golden sombrero tonight.

Wow, this thread is DEAD tonight.

Oh well, Sox win, Yanks lose. A good evening in the world of MLB.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am happy to report that your Atlanta Braves did not lose today!

Towers vs. Sosa, battle of the losers. Than after both pitchers last 3 innings we can see who has the shittier bullpen.

I'm still in Philly and watched DX reunion. Was good.

Even though Mets lost they are still doing this to NL East....

Meanwhile the Braves...

It's amazing how tight the NL West is.

LA Dodgers 36 33
San Diego 36 33
Arizona 36 34
Colorado 35 35
San Francisco 35 35

No other division even comes close. Maybe the AL West.. It's nice having 5 teams all with a legit shot at winning a division.

A tight race doesn't necessarily make it a good one. It's easily the worst division in baseball.

Suck it down, Damon!

Outfield
1. Vladimir Guerrero, Angels 1,518,276
2. Manny Ramirez, Red Sox 1,477,626
3. Ichiro Suzuki, Mariners 996,148
4. Johnny Damon, Yankees 956,595

BOO YAH!

"I'm just too damn good."

Vernon Wells should be above that asshole Johnny Damon. Stupid Yankee fans. We've got 30 million people in this country and only one baseball team. Band together Canada!

I fully support Ichiro making the team ahead of Damon. Ichiro for President of Baseball.

The Braves won three division titles without him. He would hardly be making a difference this year.

Give us the Mets' payroll and we'd have both Wagner and Furcal on the roster.

Anyway, I too am looking forward to the pitching matchup tonight at theTed:

Towers (1-8, 9.00) vs. Sosa (1-9, 5.35)

The payroll difference between the two teams is barely over $10 million. Let's not play the numbers game here.

Was the avatar bet for tomorrow or the 22nd? I'll have something cooked up for you for the deadline.

EDIT - We could also go over the fact that the Braves' payroll has actually gone up more than the Mets' has over the last couple of years. Of course, that's not saying much, since both have stayed almost static.

Glaus at short again, damnit Gibbons it didn't work in Florida it ain't gonna work here.

Just concentrate in having the best defense for Towers, now we have a shitty left side of the infield.

Too bad you can't play us every game, huh? :lol

The way we are playing right now we would get our asses kicked.

What the hell is this pitching duel between Sosa and Towers, I was expecting a slugfest.

OMG some runs, finally. Hillenbrand and Molina with back to back singles with 2 outs and now its 2 - 0 Toronto.

Aw Jesus, solo homer for Andruw Jones, 2 - 1.

Why is he not fired?

wtf?

Well, on the one hand, at least I didn't get myself involved in any of the Braves/Mets avatar bets.

On the other, I still want to kill myself.

20 runs and counting (22 hits) Man to be a White Sox fan at that game. :lol

Oh yeah, and the Jays are making Braves fans want to kill themselves!

Yankees 9 Phillies 7...:)

Mets are 9 1/2 infront of the Phills again.
Now for the Braves to do their thing also.

(edit)...:lol

Braves loose again!
