Ah crap, Janssen is going to pitch Friday against Glavine, I got tickets to that game thinking Halladay would pitch that day. Oh well atleast Delgado is finally back in town, hopefully he gets a standing ovation for all his years in Toronto.

I miss Carlos.......Still my favorite player not in a Blue Jays uniform.

Too bad JP and Rogers low balled him, Carlos in the 4 spot between Wells and Glaus would be awesome.

White Sox move into 1st in runs scored in the Majors, and 3rd in the AL in Runs allowed. A recipe for success, me thinks.

Baez has turned into an absolute joke. I dont even want to follow the games any more since it's just one heartbreak after another. =(

This is what I have to say after the Mets lost last night. F*UCK YOU BILLY WAGNER , you cant be blowing saves like this. This is his 4th blow save already!!!!!! After a night wher Mets came back from 4-1 deficit, and Reyes with cylce. This is bullcrap I feel like Brender Blooper is closing for the Mets again.

For once when can the Mets get a closer that pitches light out!!!!

You guy make the Cards like there playing the Royals. If I liked a AL team I would be afraid of the White Sox.

I'm glad I gave away the free tickets I got to this series against the Mariners.

The best part is how Mariotti tries to pretend he's being unbiased on ATH saying "He should be suspended! And its not because he called me a ***!!!"

if Ozzie Guillen tries to post on NeoGaf, does that mean he's automatically banned?

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen will be suspended one game and pitcher David Riske three games for hitting the Cardinals' Chris Duncan on Tuesday, Bruce Levine from ESPN Radio 1000 in Chicago is reporting.

Riske and manager Guillen were ejected in the seventh inning of Chicago's game against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night after Riske hit Chris Duncan with a pitch.

The Cardinals' Sidney Ponson hit both Brian Anderson and Pablo Ozuna with the bases loaded in the sixth.

Riske hit Duncan on a 3-1 pitch with two out and a runner on second in the top of the seventh. Duncan's father, Dave, is the Cardinals' pitching coach.

haha. I'm surprised Guillen didn't get like 3 games for the *** comment, and MLB would just say it was all for hitting Duncan, and quietly take him aside and tell him to shut the **** up.

Wright is amazing right now. This kid is so clutch and he's only 23. Second best player in the NL right now.

Edit: Props to Reyes for his excellent base running the last few weeks. He stole that run from the Reds.

What's insane is that players are now only catching up to Pujols in stats. Ridiculous.

edit: oh damn, Clemens is facing Liriano tonight? Awesome. Thank you ESPN for once televising a game that isn't Boston or NY.

"Oh crap!"

All we have to do is get Beltre to think he's facing the Dodgers every night, get Reed to think he's facing the Angels every night, put Carl "Bigotsaurus" Everett out to pasture, and um do something about Big Richie the K machine and the playoffs are ours...

Also it would be nice if Felix's BABIP would go back to where it was last year.

And if Hargrove would stop bunting with Lopez.

And if Bloomquist would disappear forever...

Blah, winning streak must be happy!

I hope that greedy bastard Beltre snaps his ankle. Glad we weren't suckered into paying the stupid amount he was asking for.

Reyes and Wright are just murdering the ball of late. Great time to do so since theyre both leading in All Star balloting at their positions. I'm still worried about Pedro, every week there seems to be some new nagging injury bothering him. As usual he sucked it up and came back strong in the end, great win.

Now time to hit the road. My Tivo is going to be busy now, hopefully we pull off another good road trip but there is some serious road blocks up ahead, wow. Lots of fireworks in the days to come.

Good bounce back win after that bad loss yesterday. Now it's time to go one the road, if the Mets want to be the best team in the NL go 6-3 on this trip. :)

Guillen fined, ordered to take sensitivity training for slur
Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen on Thursday was fined an undisclosed amount of money and ordered to undergo sensitivity training for his use of a derogatory term aimed at Chicago Sun-Times columnist Jay Mariotti.

"On Tuesday night, Ozzie Guillen used language that is offensive and completely unacceptable," commissioner Bud Selig said in a statement. "Baseball is a social institution with responsibility to set appropriate tone and example. Conduct or language that reflects otherwise will not be tolerated. The use of slurs embarrasses the individual, the club and the game."

Sensitivity training....yeah, I'm sure that'll work :lol

But Mariotti added that he is not meeting Guillen or going to the White Sox clubhouse because he has been the subject of physical threats while there over the past few years and the White Sox have refused to do anything about it.

:lol :lol

Liriano's so damn good. Clemens giving up 2 runs is very good. If they scored some runs it'd be nice. Clemens is doing pretty good for his first time back.

Typical Stros not doing shit with the bats when Clemens pitchs.

I'm not shocked,Stros facing a rookie pitcher they have never seen before who's got great stuff.

Clemens isnt even doing that bad, being rusty and all hes pitched better than all our other starters this week.

You suck my boney ass Springer.

I watched this miserable game last night on ESPN2. Bah! Damn Dodger bullpen made me want to scream in frustration. Now Padres will take over the NL West division while the Dodgers and Diamonbacks screw around. I give up... *sigh* Or rather I wish I could give up but I will continue to hope and pray but the Dodgers will likely fail to make the postseason yet again :-(

Jesus, the Marlins had back-to-back pinch-hit homeruns to come back from trailing 5 - 2 with 2 outs in the 9th. They've been pretty dangerous lately.

EDIT - Haha, holy shit, now Miguel Cabrera just knocked in the go-ahead run by blasting a ball that was intented as part of an intentional walk.

That was amazing. I was just about to post about it. lol

How the Marlins have come back from a 1 - 5 deficit with 2 outs in the 9th to lead at 8 - 5 in the 11th... I don't know. But I wish I had this game recorded...

Yes! Finally a sweep. BJ looked less than his usual self, but thankfully Chipper Jones is so cold we got a lucky break at the end. I bet Braves fans are big B.J Ryan fans after that series. :lol

Next up: The Mets at home.....that'll be a real tough series. Should be nice to see Carlos Delgado again and give him an ovation, just a shame he's playing on such a good team.

Papelbon saved all three games against the Braves in our series. AL East closers have not been kind to the Braves in the past week.

The 10th, actually. You can download any game for $3.95 at mlb.com if you really want it.

Also, the Braves lose their 10th straight.

He's on my fantasy team, so he gets a pass.

Actually, fantasy is the only thing keeping me going now. I NEVER imagined the Braves would drop this hard, this fast. It's really depressing. Can't even watch the games anymore. No joy in seeing an early lead because I KNOW what's coming in the later innings.

Oh well, at least my fantasy staff is starting to work themselves into shape. Dontrelle pitched pretty well earlier in the week, and Bedard rocked last night. Plus I had both starters going into the Reyes/Garcia pitcher's duel. Once Sheets gets healthy we'll really be cookin'!

Also 2 saves tonight, go BJ and Nathan.

Go Braves
