****, just get this game over with. Win, lose, I don't care. Thanks to Seanez, our bullpen is being burned up right before a big series with the Mets. That's just fantastic.
Don't get me wrong, I do want you guys to win this game, but this whole situation is so much more than I could have asked for. Not only have you guys lost your day off, but you've gone into an extra-innings affair that's taxing your pen.

Today is national love thy enemy day.

Yankees 2,Braves 0

Good job Phillies you guys tired up Red Sox bullpen for the Mets series. :)

Now on to Boston!!!

Boston is going to be one tough f*cking series. If I'm Willie I walk Pappy every time, have Reyes steal at often as he can, and give Beltran,Wright, and Delgado the green light on 3-0 pitches every time.

Hopefully Nady steps it up with men on,he needs to improve on those numbers. Jose Valentin has proven its not *that* hard to do,the guy was awful at one time earlier this year.

I'm really looking forward to this series though. Just to see how the Mets handle this. Hopefully they can take this series but for now I just want to see some excellent ball being played by them this week. Boston is one scary team.

The pitching match ups for the series look fantastic.

Soler vs. Lester
Pedro vs. Beckett
Glavine vs. Schilling

I am amped.

Yeah they look awesome. Which is a double edged sword since we'll have shit pitching against the Yankees on the weekend.:(

Figures. The Mets should reverse their rotation for the greater good of destroying the Yankees.

I think this is the toughest series of the year so far in the season. Red Sox are smoking I'm hoping our pitching staff could cool them down. Mets offense to hit there pitchers hard and often, like they've been doing this year. It's battle of first place teams.

We should've been out of that inning down 2-1 but Ethier misplayed the triple by Mauer, missed it by inches as it was slicing away from him. He's still been crap so far, he has no control at all out there.

KEMP! Great catch against the big trash bag in right field to end the 3rd.

what the fuuuuuuuuuuuck

what the **** indeed, wtf has Phil left in Wandy for so long,7 runs given up...****ing stupid, guess hes given up on the pen.

Grady Little is completely retarded at this point, we need the guy Managing our AAA team to come manage the big league club.

I was complaining more about the ejection but yeah...bleh.

Ahhh that too,****ing umps.

Thank you Grady Little for another great decision from that great mind of yours. Kuo has been shit since he came back up and you put him in against Mauer in a 2 run game with 2 on! HOLY PHUCK! :lol

Just look at his dominating stat line, I can see why Little put him in a critial situation. :sigh

Hong-Chih Kuo
W-L ERA K Walks Saves
0-4 5.91 25 21 0

I see a sweep in the Dodgers future, I guess we didn't pack our offense again on this road trip either. Danys Báez was a great pickup eh? :lol

Minnesota Mauer's 8 - Los Angeles Doggers 2 =?

NEW YORK (AP-CP) -- Manager John Gibbons of the Toronto Blue Jays will serve as a coach for the American League at next month's all-star game.

Ozzie Guillen of the Chicago White Sox, who will be the American League's manager in the game, named both Gibbon and Cleveland Indians manager Eric Wedge as his coaches Monday. The all-star game is scheduled for July 11 at Pittsburgh.

"I have lot of respect for Eric Wedge and John Gibbons and what they have been able to accomplish with the Indians and Blue Jays," Guillen said. "Every time we play those teams, it's a battle for the White Sox."

Wedge? What the christ

This nightmare of a season continues to get worse:

John Smoltz's offer to accept a trade if it nets prospects who will help the Braves rebuild more quickly could hinge on the possible sale of the club to Liberty Media. The word in executive offices around the game is that Liberty will wind up significantly cutting the Braves payroll, which could mean the club is headed toward major rebuilding mode rather than a quicker retooling. Though Smoltz's two-year, $20 million deal expires at the end of this season, the Braves hold an $8 million option for 2007.

If Liberty Media snaps up the Braves, other big contracts possibly on the move include Chipper Jones (the Braves hold a $15 million option on him in '07 and '08 that automatically vests if Jones reaches 450 plate appearances or is selected to the All-Star Game), Andruw Jones (owed $13.5 million in '07), Edgar Renteria (owed $29 million from '07-09) and Tim Hudson (owed $32 million from '07-09).

If this sale goes through I'm done with the game. Not only is Liberty another phantom corporate owner, but this sale is nothing but a stock swap for tax purposes, they are based in Denver, and even own a small part of the Rockies.

Selig will wait 4 years to vet 9 different local ownership groups for the Nationals, but he'll just throw one of the premier franchises to the wolves. WTF? Aurthur Blank was basically begging to buy the Braves. It is absolutely unconsionable that the baffoon will let this happen.

National League is going to win the all star game.

Yeah, but it'll be ok with me, because Ozzie will select Rogers from Detroit and make him pitch all 9 innings, no matter what his pitch count is, and after the 9th his arm will fall off, and we'll win the division by 15 games.

Okay Met contingent. I came of this board because I see I was needed to be the lightning rod, to give hope and life to the Mets fans that were scared to post, beaten down by years of frustration and evil Yankeedom. This week, we have a test against the Boston Red Sox and teh Evil Empire. But we cannot overlook the BoSox... they have a dangerous Manny in left field, and a Big Papi who's the Anti-Arod (He might be more clutch than the METS!!). So for the 3-game series, I want to see those 1986 Mets images when a Mets player drives in a run. If it's Reyes, show Santana or a speedster like Mookie. LoDuca, show Carter. Delgado, show Keith. We shall beat 1986 attitude all over the Bosawx in this series!!! ARE YOU WITH ME, De-Generation METS??

... BREAK IT DOWN!!!

You better sweep the Red Sox and Yankees, I am tired of their winning ways.

Meh-Braves will be just fine. I won't loose any sleep over their future but I doubt they'll become the Florida Marline of baseball.

The Marlins are an extreme situation. Liberty Media doesn't have to Marlinize the Braves for significant damage to be done. Another 25-30% reduction in payroll would put us in the $55-60 million range. While that's certainly nothing to sneeze at, there's no way that'll enable us to stay competitive while the Mets turn themselves into the Yankees of the NL with their new stadium and TV network (that just happens to be owned by Time Warner).

Oh you silly Mets fans. You see, this time there won't be a Bill Buckner to let you off the hook. No matter how good you think you are, you're still an NL team.
