He got nailed on the thigh, which was generous considering they could have plunked him on the hands. Mets batters were getting brushed back and hit all day, Johnson was aggresive inside all day. Cabrera should have known something was coming.

****ing Lidge. We actually score runs today. Have a 2-run lead and this asshole comes in to blow the save. Wheeler will be the closer by the end of the season to hold us over until next season when we can get a free agent closer. Lidge is a middle reliever now.

Danys Baez, Odalis Perez, J.D. Drew and Jose Cruz Jr. all need to die and die quickly! Especially Jose Cruz Jr. who ****ed up any chance we had of having a huge inning in the 6th when he got nothing but balls out of the strike zone and popped out on the 6th ball of at the at bat. Good to hear Dodger stadium boo the hell out of Cruz and Drew all game long, we need to keep that up.
P.S. STFU Steve Lyons, we didn't bring Drew here to have a decent season where all he does is hit singles with no one on base and strike out swinging with runners in scoring position. I'd rather have Furcal than Drew!

Anyone know how League pitched in relief, his problem is that he has no movement on his fastball and than he gets hit hard but he may have gotten lucky as it was the first time he faced these hitters, if he has his control working than he could probably take over as the set up man.
