White Sox = pwned.

Kid Wonderful = angry.

Jaret Wright = a winner again? :lol

Mo gets his 400th save, and Jesus rejoices.

AL East; we're coming for what's ours.

Also, wtf @ frank getting a rank. WELLINGTON! :-(

And now Wright goes deep! It's an 11-run inning!!

I guess this shows why the Mets are one of the best teams, and the Cubs are one of the worst.

Finally over after 17 batters, 11 runs, 5 homeruns, and 2 grand slams.

Priceless.

EDIT - Was it 16 batters? I lost track.

Hey, I never asked for it. I PMed Wellington to take it off.

:lol :lol :lol

That makes it funnier.

also, lol @ the cubs. So is this what it's like to have a bullpen comprised entirely of Latroy Hawkins?

There's going to be a fight in this game . . .

I'm going to be bold here and make a proclamation:

The Braves no longer suck. So much.

Ooh! Also, Bobby Cox is officially 3rd on the all time list for ejections. He's only one behind Leo Duroucher and eight behind John Mcgraw. C'mon Bobby! Set that record!

Its a mirage........nothing has changed with the bullpen. Its still the same cast. We just haven't had to use them much the last two games.

Swisher was supposed to have the day off, but Thomas, who drilled a single off the Green Monster in his only at-bat, was lifted with an accelerated heart beat and extreme dizziness in the fourth inning.

Thomas said he had a couple of espresso shots before the game, which might not have been the wisest move, considering the game was played in 93-degree heat and major humidity.

"That's it for pregame espressos," Thomas said. "I have no idea how I got a hit. I couldn't even see the ball."

WTF? They said they took him out for illness, which I thought was good because it wasn't another quad strain or something...but expresso? Oh well, he went 1-1 and we got the win :P

Sorry Frankman, I didn't put the tag on. We have a rule among the administration about undoing something that someone else did.

Also, HOW ABOUT DEM YANKS. Three of four from the Tigers, a sweep of the White Sox. AL Central best division in baseball INDEED.

Well in slight defense, almost every good team has rocked the Tigers. Good teams take them out. They just aren't losing against the bad teams.

Oh, and Schilling posts on NYYfans: http://forums.nyyfans.com/showthread.php?t=94438&page=288

I really, really, really think it's cool that he does that.

He's a brave man to go into the moron sanctuary that is the NYYfans message board. Schilling also posts on the Sons of Sam Horn message board.

I knew about him posting at SOSH, but posting on a Yankees forum is pretty awesome. I hate the guy, but it's great that he does that. I wish other players were such geeks. We need to get someone posting in this thread---I'd settle for Emil Brown.

edit: wow

WoW sucks, EQ2 FTW!
WoW is for people still into Tonka and Playschool.

I always thought that "FTW" was just a GAF term. They must have confirmed it's him somehow, but I still find it hard to believe.

Anyone know an equipment manager? Time to turn this into an insider discussion.

NYYFans is loaded with 'tards saying, "CAN WE TRADE BUBBA CROSBY FOR PUJOLS," and the regular reactionary pap following every single game...like if Mo blows a save, "Anyone worried about Mo?" or the "refuse to boo" Alex Rodriguez brigade.

You can also be banned there for saying anything too offensive, which includes anything you'd hear on TV after 5 PM.

BUT it is also a nice fan forum if you can wade through that. There is a lot of good statistical analysis going on and there is some real trade discussion going on that doesn't sound like a bunch of yankee fans slobbering over each other.

For Schilling to post there, he's brave...but he's also a big mouth.

EDIT: I love the pompous asses taking on Schilling!!! LOL!

Oh, did I ever post this here? I was going through shit I don't need on my ftp server and I found the clip from 2 years ago when I was on The Final Word on Fox Chicago.

Tom Waddle(ex-Bears wide receiver, if you didn't know) was doing a segment on the brand new Fundamentals area at The Cell. Well since it just opened, they let anyone try out the stuff, not just children 12 or younger...so of course my friends and I were over there doing everything. We ran into Tom Waddle, bullshitted with him for a bit, got his autograph, watched him tape everything.

It was a fun time.
I'm the one in the black White Sox hat and grey Konerko jersey. I'm best seen watching that Lucas douchebag win a dollar off of him(which Waddle actually paid out of his own wallet), and standing next to Tom when he announced "Slow Jim":

Notes:
*He really did pull his hamstring, and it was hilarious. He was bitching about it for the next ten minutes, and was wincing a bit when he walked
*My friend bet he could beat Waddle's time. Waddle said if he did, he'd put him on TV. My friend pulled a 3.98 to Waddle's 4.09and won. Waddle bought him a coke, but never put him on TV =(
*Tom was still a very, very, very cool guy.

Ah, I see.

:lol at the WoW comments. He actually uses "FTW" too. OMG I need to make a SCHILLING FTL sign for my next game at the stadium. :lol :lol

I'm still in shock that they haven't completely attacked him as if he were raw meat...not that he couldn't hold his own, but they are actually having a nice disussion. Hmph. Faith in humanity +1.
