I'm kinda surprised there aren't more Dodgers fans on this board, to be honest, especially with the large LA population we have.
I like the Dodgers, but that's probably because they're originally from Brooklyn and I grew up hearing my grandfather's stories about them before they left for LA.
Of course, after they did leave, it became Mets for life in my family.

Well, by the time I was born, the Mets had been around for 19 years and my family had already converted a long time ago. I knew about the Mets before I knew about the Dodgers.Poody said:

Ugh, I am disappointed. In the one fantasy baseball league I had a shot at winning, my friend, who is the commissioner, made a few shady deals since it's commissioner approval only for trades. Ichiro for Prince Fielder and Joe Johnson (WTF) then subsequently trade Ichiro for Troy Glaus and Bronson Arroyo, two positions of need... he's gotten a delta of about 300 more points than anyone else. He's already within 100 points of first (I'm in second) and the team is just too good to cool down.
What a way to kill a fantasy league that was actually pretty exciting.

FWIW, Liriano had arm problems in the minors (its one of the reasons why the Giants just threw him in for Pierzinski). His forearm pain is the exact same kind that Mike Hampton was feeling leading up to his TJ injury. This has to be very disconcerting for the Twins.

God damn it, Liriano. On the plus side at least the Blue Jays won't have to face him in the upcoming series but knowing the Blue Jays we will be shut out by whoever his replacement will be.
