Doesn't matter. ****ing losers. Has Manny ever had a clutch hit? Ever? The closest thing I can remember is a year ago, when he "came back" and drove in an RBI in that game Papelbon started.

Two men on, less than two outs-- no runs.

STORY OF THE ****ING SEASON.

THE SKY IS FALLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIING

Manny is horrible in late game situations. I can't even remember the last time Manny had a walk-off hit.

This team is absolutely pathetic. Sack the **** up and win some goddamn games while the schedule is easy you pussies. If they continue to flounder through this stretch against the Royals and Orioles, they may be screwed.

Russ Martin is the best base stealing catcher in the league. I'm no Dodgers fan, but I'm a big Russ Martin fan. He's from Ontario so I've gotta support him.

Wow, Andruw Jones playing straight dirty today it seems! What was with that grabbing of Utley's knee to try and break up a double play.

WOO! BIG strikeout there by Broxton. Let's put another run or two on the board for insurance fellas!

Cool, Dodgers plated a 4th courtesy of my boy Ethier, but Betemit whiffed and Kent was thrown out on a hit and run... 5th DP of the game for the Rockies. That's gotta be some kind of record. :lol

So I kind of can see the Devil Rays strategy, but does Sexson suck that much?

And the answer is no, no he doesn't. Walk off grand slam. Seth McClung sure does suck ass.

Hmm, Street is in a precarious position. Runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. I wonder if he can get out of it. And everytime I see Gaudin do well for Oakland it pisses me off that we basically gave him away for nothing, I would rather have him in the bullpen than some of the crap we got in there, I'm looking at you Schoeneweis.

Blalock singles home a pair. Now a runner on first with one out and a 1 run lead.

You can do it Street!

I traded for him in my fantasy league 20 minutes ago. Luckily for me, trades take 2 days to go through so t

Well he gets the job done, even though he gave up 2 runs.

And that was a weird way the game ended, Kendall sure goes all out to get the batter interference call.

Damn watching highlights of the Twins and Tigers and CB Bucknor got friggin killed out there. How unlucky is he to get hit by 3 foul balls in one game.

Root! for the Blue Crew. You won't miss a beat... :lol

Well here in California its all Dodgers/Giants. And I sure as hell ain't rooting for the Giants.
There was a moment of temptation when they had Will Clark-that guy was great. But nah I can't root for them. Besides - I use to love the Dodgers when they had Garvey years back so a part of me will always root for Dodger Blue.

Great game tonight . . .

The Mike Piazza lovefest would've been better had I not left home late and the Mets' opened the frickin' bleachers (reserved to a party). HELLO? 8,000 seating capacity reserved for a few hundred? I watched the game for the 7 train walkway with my mini radio again. Mike was clearly embarassed at the reaction, perfect game.

You didn't buy a ticket for Mike's home coming?
Or were the prices inflated all to hell for the event?

wait a minute, you had tickets and they didnt let you in? say what? i would complain if i were you.

the good: piazza's reception, class act. red sox lose to KC (bwahahaha) A-rod homered.
the bad: mo gives up a homer, yanks lose, we cant gain a game on the sawx.

Well, I had my heart set on a bleacher seat (BP homers, post my signage) but when I got there late A) I found out the Mets reserved the bleachers for a private function. It wasn't even full, the bastards. B) There was NOTHING open behind home plate in the Upper deck or Mezzanine. I said "F this, if I can't buy the seat I want I'm out" and watched from the walkway.

I see your point-youre cheap.:lol

I kid I kid. :)

**** I would have wanted in just to try and get Piazza's autograph on a night like that. Have him sign the date and all.

I'm just VERY moral and a stickler to what I state. If I say I won't do something I won't do it. No way in HELL I'm paying $60 for a ticket unless it's the postseason.

post-season tickets cost more. uh-oh, someone isn't going to the playoffs... :D

$60.00 ....@@ not cheap.

Still thats Piazza coming home yaknow. Its a judgement call I guess,I mean you've still got two more games to attend anyways.

How much are post season tickets going to go for? Is it anything like the absurd dollar amounts that the N.B.A. charges?

Serves him right, he's the worst ****ing ump in the entire game.

7 bucks for a bottled water...Jesus Christ.

Remind me to take out a loan if I ever go to the Big Apple to check out Yanks and Mets games...****.

Unless it's the postseason, evil. Is being gay for Gay-rod making you blind as well as impotent?

He's a great catcher in the making. I would say him and Andre Ethier would be my top picks for rookie of the year, but I may be a bit bias.

. . . I totally did not expect that response. You win this round, but there WILL be others.

*mutters under breath about frickin' Jeter and frickin' Yankees and frickin' stupid tag under name. CAN SOMEONE RID ME OF THE STUPID TAG? Wotthehell???*

tag stays until you either get banned or do something else to get another tag. and yes, i played that quite nicely.

In 2000 playoff tickets were 110 buck each.

I just wanted to say that I am glad Willy Mo is finally getting decent playing time, even if he is a Red Suck. I thought for sure that this would have been his breakout season.

The Braves bullpen is lol-worthy.

Whatever dude.

I mean come on. Cut them some slack. Its *really* hot out there. You just might give up 8 runs on 6 hits, 5 walks, and a grounder through the wickets if you had to go pitch out there today.

Its so hot out there that Utley scored from second on a groundball back to the pitcher. He just wanted to get some Gatorade LOL........

Hopefully D. Lowe can keep up his recent run of solid starts. He looked great early in the season but boy was July rough.
