Meier, I think Little is trying to preserve from using the bullpen tonight w/ Lowe's pitch count low.

Worst possible result. Come on Andre... you can do it. There's no way we have another instance of bases loaded with 1 out and dont score.
 
What in the **** is up with the offense tonight.. Jesus Christ, it's just pathetic. There's no excuse to be so disappointing with the bases loaded.
 
- G. Atkins grounded into fielder's choice, J. Carroll out at third

I dunno who the **** made this play but WOO for doing it! (Furcal maybe?) Hmm, another hit given up by Lowe.. time to pull the plug.
 
Yeah, it was a sweet play by Furcal to flip it to 3rd. Saved a run basically. This has been a really good game, at least the innings I've seen.

It has been a pretty good game since the beginning.

Anyway got this from another forum (MVPmods), apparently Tejada got sick of all the heckling of the Blue Jays fans.

I was at the game and didn't see it though. But the fans were giving it to him pretty hard after he struck out against BJ.
 
Son of a bitch... dammit Little, you shouldnt have sent Lowe out for the 9th. Ugh, this is so frustrating -- offense really let us down tonight. Hopefully Saito can get out of this without giving up another run then maybe we can do something in the bottom of the inning.

Bad luck by the Dodgers that inning, although Saito was off so it's hard to say they deserved better. Less than spectacular D by Lugo
 
Glad I couldnt watch that play, I'd have been more mad about it than I am just reading it. :\ What a frustrating way to (potentially) end our streak. Seriously, there's just no excuse for Kent poppint out in that situation there in the 8th.

12 games would have been our longest win streak in like 40 years or something. Sucks.

jack mcdowell didn't get suspended when he flipped off yankee fans so i don't think anything will come of this.

So ok, I went to a bar tonight iwth some friends.

Watching the sox game on the tv, I had a feeling that no way in hell was the Sox going to win tonight

So going into the bottom of the ninth I put a 10 dollar prop bet to this guy that wasa sox fan that my friend brought to the bar that the KC royals were going to win tonight.

Easy 10 right?

Yea..I took a bathroom break and then I knew, deep down just this feeling that there was no way in hell the sox were going to win tonight.l

Sure enough I come back to see the Royals had tiedd it up. And then shortly thereafter the fccuking royhals win. Holy shit.

So now Im up 10 bucks, bought everyone aroundd of drinks, and the ****ing guy leaves before i could buy it, muttering to himself "see this is why i hate yankee fans"

****ing what are the odds holy shit.

And yea the table next to me almsot kicked my ass. And was ging to if I didn't have girls with me :lol

Wow, what a horrible way to end the streak. Where was the rest of the bullpen? Beimel or Carrara havent been used in a couple days that I can remember. Also, This is the 2nd time this year someone has stolen home on the Dodgers, SHAME! Atleast the Mets beat the Padres again so were still 1/2 Game out of First Place. =\

yeah, the playoff thing. well, he should have shut lowell up by helping his team advance to next round. so he should have shut it back then.
