You know, I think it's good that I didn't see this before tuesday's game. If I got my bleachers seats after seeing that I may have cried during his tribute. The 9/11 game was so emotional . . . I can't even put what I felt in words or images.

Yep I just viewed this tribute to him today also. Its sort of great timing considering what Piazza and the fans expressed to one another at Shea this week.

I remember watching the Mets first game back after the 911 tragedy on MLB Extra Innings. Piazza had tears in his eyes and the whole ball park came together trying to heal from what had happened 10 days before. I was merely watching it here on the West coast and even I could feel the love and sorrow in that moment-just incredible. I can only imagine what it must have been like being at Shea that night.

Pat Neshek ( http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7792/ ) is my new favorite player. You guys thought Curt Schilling was down with the fans? Check this out.

I really have no purpose for this page. I figured hey, why not start a webpage about my life in baseball and talk about everything that goes on in it, especially autographs. I really have no clue what it will amount to but I know it will be good. I guess what I want is to interact with the fans and make them learn and laugh. Have fun and let me know what you think!

If you need anything signed or want to trade signed hockey/baseball cards for my cards send items to:
Pat Neshek C/O Minnesota Twins
Metrodome
34 Kirby Puckett Place
Minneapolis, MN 55415

He collects his own baseball cards and trades autographed hockey cards with Twins fans. :lol http://eteamz.active.com/PatNeshek/news/index.cfm?cat=299385

I just got through most of my mail and got some pretty sweet trades. I'm kind of surprised but the trades have been down a bit lately. Remember if you ever need a signed card of mine send a signed card of any baseball or hockey player with a SASE and we have a trade.
:lol

My god... That is ****ing beautiful. It pisses me off that he can't share in the success of the team this year. I felt it was his time to go by this time last year but I take it all back. Seeing the Mets early on this year without him was so weird. It's a ****ing shame. I know the Padres are in first place (for the next few hours at least) but there's no way that team is going to do anything in the playoffs, and that just sucks when he deserves so much better. I wish he was still on the team. Yeah, I have a crush on Beltran, Jose, and Wright, but Piazza is my favorite player ever and I will always appreciate what he did.

That is such on awesome feature but I disagree with the narrator that Mets fans will forget him.

And Ervin Santana takes a line drive off the knee, he seemed to get off the field on his own power but this could be pretty bad for the Angels with Colon probably already out for the season. I guess they can get by with Lackey, Weaver, Escobar and Saunders.

Son of a bitch. I have that guy in two different fantasy leagues.

Now the hit streak challenge is up to Manny. Career best 25 games after a hit tonight. I'm surprised in all his years he hasn't done better. Maybe all the walks gave him less ABs to keep a streak going.

I'm a Mets fan living in Los Angeles. Soooo it just occurred to me, given the current state of the league, that I am now a Dodgers fan, too. Let's go Blue!!

What the hell, when I saw Elvis was pitching for KC I thought the Sox were going to pound him for like 20 runs.

Uh oh, Elvis is in trouble. Lead off double :(

Pat Neschek is the f'ing man. Strikes out Vernon Wells on 3 pitches. Not only does he have the best player website in the history of baseball, but he's damn good.

Damn him, we need as many runs as possible as Lilly is up there in pitches and I do not trust the bullpen :(

Elvis nnnnnnnnnnooooooooooo, it was good while it lasted I guess.

5 run lead is safe with Big League pitching. It's a shame Ol' Nessy only faced one batter, I wanted more Neschek. At least now he gets to go online and trade autographed hockey cards.

This 5-0 win not only reassures me about the Jays going into next year but makes me think they're not 100% dead this year too.
still 96% dead

And wtf is up with no other games on TV now? Yesterday I had the Sox and Yankees on, and today not even a Braves or Cubs game on now that the Jays game is over. Lame.

Looks like Schilling is in trouble. But it is the Royals and they do suck. I mean come on they could only score 3 runs on 8 doubles and 1 homer.

Honestly, with Arod's EQA being down 50 pts from last year and 20 errors, you have to wonder just how much he is actually hurting the team in the absence of sheff and matsui.

He's, of course, a-rod and he has his moments...but our defense is not good and he makes it worse. If it weren't for him, we'd be tied.

I don't know when he last pitched, but any chance the Sox can run Papelboner out there to gas away another game? I have him on my yahoo team, but I'm still giddy every time he (finally) ****s up.

kill me kill me kill me kill me kill me kill me kill me kill me kill me kill me

Well for once we got some solid pitching thoughtout from not only our starter but our bullpen. At least the young guns are starting to do well like League and Accardo. Now if only McGowan could learn how to control his pitches. And Tallet has been a pleasent surprise.
