Borkowski has been pretty awesome, I can't tell if it is because he is that good or if Chicago is that bad.

And damn Arizona and Colorado are in the top of the 14th with no end in sight as well.

I think he's that good. He's low on the astros bullpen depth chart but I have no idea why (I think he's the designated long relief guy so that that could be why). But he does nothing but throw strikes. He's walked less than 10 all year.

Looking at his game log either he is really dominating and logs a lot of hitless innings in a game or he lasts like 0.1 innings and gives up a couple of runs. But since July he has been pretty damn good. Started out poorly though which explains the ERA.

Borkowski now with 5 scoreless innings. I wonder what his balls to strikes ratio is, it seems like he is only throwing strikes out there.

Well when the other team is using pitchers to pinch hit, you'd better throw strikes. I bet a batting practice pitcher could strike out most of these guys right now.

So tomorrow's starting pitcher for Chicago is pitching in relief. Who's going to start tomorrow? Dusty Baker's kid? Or maybe Hill will pitch two days in a row.. Oh if only I had Cubsfan and Mr boob here to answer these questions of mine.

to the 18th we go!

incredible that on a night when an 18+ inning game is being played, a 15 (at least) inning game is going on at the same time.

It's pretty insane. He only threw 8 balls in 5 innings of work and something like 50 strikes.

Aw man, I'm so dumb I didn't even think to see if the game was on until just now, I was checking the scores online until I realized that of course the cable box is going to show something else on now. At least I get to watch from the 18th on. :lol

Also, cool that WGN shows DaVinci's Inquest. I liked that show back when. ;)

Rumor is that the Shawn Green deal is almost done. Mets send Victor Diaz and Royce Ring to Arizona to acquire him, and Green has waived the no-trade. The hangup is apparently money right now.

Ok I heard someone in another forum say that Green's contract next year has an option in it-which means the Mets can get away from paying him if true. How much is the buyout though? He's due something like 10 million next year, right? *But* what is he being payed this year? It's be sweet if he had deferred money this year,if so maybe he wouldn't be that expesnse to pick up? Wishful thinking on my part I'm sure. But I don't wanna see Woodward or Tucker in left field anymore. Green or Wilson would be more than ok with me.

Typical mets fan, everyone else is talking about something else and you're still talking about the Mets.

2 runs for the Cubs in the top half. I'm not going to be happy until I see a fielder pitch, come on Astros tie this shit up!
I'm not gonna be happy until I see the corpse of Kerry Wood wheeled out there to throw.

MLB "Extra Innings" is living up to its name tonight.

Matt Murton. Houston fans, remember that man. He's almost as evil as Brad Lidge.

It is now up to Arizona and Colorado to go 25 innings.

Ah damn it, I was hoping to atleast see Berkman go down on strikes, oh well.

Hopefully the Rockies and the Diamondbacks can go 20+.

I don't remember any.

Brandon Medders is pitching pretty well. So is Ramirez, let us see who screws up first.

To the 18th.
