Well, this game is over. Ponson sucks
Are you kidding? Both teams suck. I'm willing to bet there's at least eight more runs scored between the two teams the rest of the way.

The chances of the Yankees scoring four runs while keeping the Red Sox off the board is real low. Maybe I'm wrong, but you guys have the advantage right now.

EDIT - Crap, I am a weaksauce fan. I didn't think they'd get out of the inning :lol

We can come back form 3 runs, although considering our bullpen right now, I don't have TOO much confidence. Why am I such a pessimist :(

**** YOU TIMLIN. Go ahead and spout off to the media some more about this team's shitty play being the fault of the offense. Retire already you washed up old ****.

We all know it, but I'll say it again-- this team's bullpen is complete garbage.

Holy ****. Timlin, you are a ****ing disaster.

Jeter is God.
Abreu is god.
Giambi is God.

MELKY CABRERA IS ****ING GOD.

A-Rod even had a clutch hit.

Timlin is ass.
Francona is ass.
Wily Mo is ass.

Praaaaaaise jesussssss.

Either team just needs one more run for my estimation to be right!

Just kill me.

This game is far from over.

This has been one of the craziest baseball games ever.

EDIT - Oh crap, Farnsworth. Think we might see Dotel here?

Guess not. its Proctor.... again *sigh*

This game is so ****ing long, and I've been watching the WHOLE thing on the shitty MLB.com gamecast. I have no idea what's going on half the time. I picked a stupid day to sell my TV.

Oh christ. I forgot Keith Foulke was activated.

I can't believe Proctor was brought into the game... AGAIN!!! Somebody arrest Joe Torre for Reckless Endangerment please. Proctor is going to faint on the mound one day, I could feel it.

I'm watching it on ESPN's gamecast. It's great for watching it play by play, since you could actually see when the ball is pitched, see the ball when its hit. It's pretty cool. The only thing MLB has over it is that its more detailed stats wise. Usually I have both of them going at the same time, like I do now. But generally, it does suck having to watch games like this over a gamecast. I would turn on the raido but......::shakes:: lets just not get into that.

Melky just WON'T DIE

These guys are going to feel dead tomorrow afternoon. :lol
I don't know why the hell they chose to do the double-header on the first day of the series. Obviously they couldn't do it Monday, because the Sox need to fly to LA, but both two teams are just going to be exhausted the entire weekend.

Don't worry Sox fans. Even if we lose this game, we still have Josh Beckett going tomorrow.

what's the over/under on how many homers Beckett will give up to the Yankee lineup? i'd feel comfortable putting it at 10.

That's comforting. Plus, it's on Fox. Wow, that should be a fun game!

I could have told you Timlin was anti clutch back in 95, worst closer ever (yes even worse than Batista). On the other hand he did help win two world series.

Vernon Wells will not sign a contract with the jays according to Keith Law's ESPN blog

Keith Law is presumably a Blue Jay insider because he worked with them for the last few years before moving to ESPN. It seems like he left a bit bitter.

Ugh.......I only had it on ESPN for three minutes before they showed highlights for (presumably) the 846th time tonight.

Whatever.......Tuesday can't come soon enough.

Meh we couldn't afford Vernon anyway. If we can get a good young shortstop for him we can go with Johnson in center, Rios in right and Cat in left. Plus we would also have the 4.8 saved from Hinske + 2 mil from Shea + the 5.6 mil to Wells to sign a pitcher.

PRAISE BE TO THE PROPHET RUTH THAT HATH HELPED US VANQUSIH THE RED DRAGON OF THE NORTH!!! FELLOW YANKEE BROTHERS, I BRING YOU GOOD TIDINGS FROM THE FRONT LINES OF OUR GREAT WAR!!! INDEED, OUR FINEST WARRIORS TODAY MASSACRED RED LOYALISTS OF THE NORTH AND AS I SPEAK WE COMMAND VAST SWATHS OF LAND AND WE HAVE THE INITIATIVE!!! PRAISE BE TO RUTH!!!!

Beckett has a 10.80 ERA against the Yanks this year. Tomorrow should be fun.

I seriously think our best shot at winning a game this series is Wells v. Lidle on Monday. Maybe Sunday if Schilling will ****ing man up.
