Anectodal evidence: Was at Saturn (Germany) today. They had 12 stacked and the one I preordered was seperate. Not sold out by far, but I saw 3 being sold while I was there.
 
Gah!! Typical i finally broke down (I found out i have no will power not even for a day) and decided to get a PS3 when i find out i borrowed money out.

You'll need to register a Primary Account on you PlayStation 3.
Make sure you fill out the details correctly though.
Once you've finished, you'll get a message on your PS3 which says your account has been created and just below it'll say that the Casino Royal offer is limited.
You wont get a confirmation email from SCEE though, which sucks.
At least I hope thats how you do it, otherwise I might miss out.

I've tried that. But nothing happens. Did you register your PS3 on that page? When I submit all the info, I just get returned to the very same page. Pretty weird.

Wait, I need to make another account? So I can't use the account I created a couple of months ago at all?
 
I made another account just to be safe.
I wasn't sure how to view if my original account was a primary one or not, so I'd rather be safe than sorry.
You can still use your current account though, just make a dummy account - using a different email - to confirm your Casino Royale disk.
Once you've successfully activated your new account you should get an email from noreply@SCEE, but it doesn't tell you anything about the Blu Ray movie.
I'm not 100% sure on it though, i'm just hoping that i done it right.
 
i think the casino royale is for registering your PS3 (like it was for spiderman 2 for psp) so you need to register your serial code online, in which you can use your old created account.

I did that too, now I hope I'm within the first 500k.
 
the URL should be on the back of one of the inserts that came with your PSP in the manual pack. I think it is ps3registration.com

ps i think 500k people are getting it but there are cut offs in certain countries. In Australia its only free for the first 20k. No idea about the other counties limits.

You need to register using your ps3. Its not like the PSP Spiderman deal where you had to go to mypsp.com and register you psps serial number.

When I signed in with my previously registered account, I had to accept some kind of agreement. But it didn't say anything about Casino Royale. Hmm...

Yeah, i registered my PS3 on that page (but i had to do so from my pc, as using the PS3 browser would always give me a page does not exist error).

As CurlySaysX, you'd only need to register on PSN, but I did the PS3 registration as well to be sure (that adress was on a depliant inside the PS3 pack, so I used it).

EDIT: And am I the only one that gets macrovision protection using a SCART/RGB cable (Sony one i used on PS2) when watching DVDs (with RGB selected in the option under DVD)? Or that uses a SCART/RGB cable (as i guess most are either using an hdmi cable or the composite/component cables)?

after mucking aroun for a few hours on the ps3 i booted up virtua tennis on 360 and couldnt believe how heavy,loud and unstylish the dash is on the 360 in comparison.
 
I registered a new account and I got a small message regarding the Blu-ray, which said it was a limited offer... I think I did it right this time, I hope I'm getting it soon...
 
one question: is it possible to change country settings in existing PSN account or do i have to create another one?

I'm using a scart, and it's fine. It was green when I switched it on at first though. It's a 3rd party RGB scart with the little game/dvd switch on it, but it's set to game (full RGB).

Odd.

thats probably old... France and UK got upped by 30% in last 2 weeks so I doubt that Germany got less....
 
I cant get my CC to work on PSN.. It says the card is not valid.
I find it odd that I only have to enter the name of the card holder, nothing about street address and so on.

I think it goes off what you entered when you setup your main account.

played a lot of Resistance (awesome!) and Ridge Racer 7 (of course awesome!) :D

yup, thats what I got too.

I just played some motorstorm and first time round it kicked my ass but second time i beat my previous time by 30 seconds and won easily. Theres something missing though.. im not sure if its rumble but theres certainly something that would make this game alot better in terms of controls.. i think maybe a force feedback wheel with very low sensitivity, so that you need to do quick 2-3 rotations of the wheel for a sharp turn. It almost feels too easy to turn on the terrain when i would imagine IRL it would be a bastard to steer on. Mind you ive only played one track and with a buggy, might be completely different as a truck and i havent even tried the motion controls which i will do when im a little better. I see you can select EU servers or Aus/NZ which is a nice suprise.

RR7, VF5, Resistance, Motorstorm. Don't know when I'll be going online - got to go out drinking most of tomorrow. It's a hard life.
