After a week where one RAW Superstar got fired, two more were traded to SmackDown! and the 2005 RAW Diva Search winner Ashley was brutally welcomed to RAW by its two newest Divas Torrie and Candice, nothing seems like a safe bet on RAW.

The only sure thing is that Kurt Angle is the new No. 1 Contender to John Cena’s WWE Championship. After Cena defeated Chris Jericho to get him fired last week, Angle attacked the WWE Champion and left him lying in the ring. Will The Champ have revenge in mind when RAW heads to the Tampa. Fla.?

While that develops, the rivalry between Matt Hardy and Edge continues to intensify. Edge attacked Hardy after his match with Rob Conway last week, leaving Matt bloodied after an attack involving the steel ring steps. Tonight, Matt gets a chance at payback in a RAW Street Fight. Additionally, Alter Bridge - the band that sings Edge's entrance theme - will be in attendance tonight.

Fresh off a four-person trade that brought them to RAW, Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson welcomed Diva Search winner Ashley to RAW with a vicious attack. How will the newest WWE Diva rebound from her first taste of RAW?

Also last week, Shawn Michaels got the best of Chris Masters when “The Masterpiece” interrupted Shawn’s speech in the ring. Tonight, HBK will attempt to be the first man to break Masters’ vicious full nelson when he takes part in the Master Lock Challenge. Can Michaels get the job done, or will The Masterpiece add HBK to his list of victims?

Raw has all the makings of a bad show tonight..I have a feeling the bad shows will continue up until its jump to USA..The Game needs to come back and come back now, HBK needs to get his heel flare back, and Cena needs to be stripped of the title...These things would make Raw a great show.

I just got back to university and am watching this over an antenna. I used to just get a couple of channels, but all of a sudden I get very fuzzy versions of TSN and Lone Star, a Canadian Digital Cable channel. It's been an odd day.

I'm all for Tweener heels, I really am. But teaming them together is just BIZARRE. Flair and Shawn are both characters that lack anything close to a cemented character, and now they're throwing them together, knowing that three weeks down the line they may end up on completely opposite ends of the spectrum.

Edit: In other news...they've devalued the whole wrestling part of this enough, but this bullshit where feuds that should logically end at PPVs DON'T end at PPVs is damn annoying. Hardy/Edge is old hat at this point, and the whole angle was dead before the supposed payoff...now they're just kicking a dead horse.

Yeah...I would think he'd kind of have the effect of The Rock pre-Movie Success, post-Movie Career. He would get a pop from the crowd, but the smart people would realize that he NEVER REALLY WRESTLES.
