I predict that HHH will be very angry, come out at the beginning, and have a 20-minute bitch-fest
 
I also predict that Christian will continue to be the most over guy on the show, and will in no way receive a push in relation to it.
 
Rumor has it the draft will be after Judgment Day (May 22). So after the Cena-JBL rematch, Christian can be drafted and feud with Cena :D
 
DAMNIT.. how can they just job CC out like that? Would be awesome if he cost Trips his match tonight.. its not gonna happen, but it'd rock.
 
Weird place to put a "RIP Chris Candido" thing (a third into the show after a backstage interview), but you gotta give them credit for atleast doing it. Maybe they forgot to do it at the beginning of the show?
 
That match fucking ROCKED. There were 3 or 4 awesome spots, and that finisher was great.. springboard into sweet chin music? Not the outcome that I wanted, but HBK made Shelton look like a million bucks.

and a big FU to Matt it looks like.. either that or they are thinking of going Russo style and using this as an angle. :lol

What? That match elevated both Shelton and HBK. Shelton came *that* close to beating a freakin' legend. HBK made Shelton look better than he ever has in that match.

And....seems like Edge-Lita-Matt is about to be an angle.
 
Hmm looks like the chance of the Edge/Lita/Matt might be an angle has risen...still dont put that much faith in the WWE bookers.
 
Matt also has gone silent on his website about the chants on the PPV last night.. dont know what it means.. he also has a promo shot up for his new charachter.. says the scar wil become the symbol, and he has a barb wire in glass ring on his ring finger.. so looks like his new angle is going to involve this stuff.

I'm betting it's Benoit.

I enjoyd the HBK/Benjamin match a whole lot, but this tournament seems so boring since we all know it will be HHH vs. Batista at the next PPV.

I'm assuming Benoit if he's not selling the brick to the head, which will suck because that means Benoit jobbing some more.
 
HHH doing the job is always good. He'll probably kill Benoit backstage due to his concussion or something and find his way back into the tournament.
 
No, Trips isnt next in line for the title shot.. just figured it out, Raw has forever until the next PPV, so this is just building for a TV match for the title.. Trips will still get him at No Mercy.

Again, it was revealed BEFORE Backlash that Triple H was going to face Batista a third time for the title at the following PPV.

That's when Trips will regain the title for the 11th time. :/
 
yeah, JR is providing some awesome quotes lately.

"Triple H beat me worse than my daddy ever did." (or something like that)
 
Actually, Brian Gerwitz (SP?) is on vacation.. which means someone else is heading the writing staff/booking at the moment, so that probably explains why Raw felt really fresh tonight.. I think HHH/Batista HIAC is coming at the next PPV, but I think Trips is going to do the job.
 
I still cant believe Shelton survived that springboard into a superkick... its too bad the guys sucks on the mic, because he is one of the top in ring performers..

I thought he was legit knocked goofy as it looked like HBK wanted to do the "stand up and raise the opponents hand" and Shelton couldn't get up. I also thought that because they stayed with the post-match for a long time with nothing going on. Outstanding match.
 
Anyone know where i can get this? Now pwtorrents is gone I havent got anyway of watching anymore and i miss wrestlings comedy genius

Odd. PWTorrents worked just fine last night.

Maybe they couldn't pay their bill for the month....

EDIT: PWTorrents is still working... just slowly.

Evidently they *did* stand up and do the arms raised thing afterwords.. but Raw went to commercial when it happened.. I'm guessing that they were trying to do the "Wow, that was awesome" go to commercial, come back with Shelton still knocked the fuck out and then have him get up and have Shawn raise his arm/give him the belt.. to sell the power of that high spot (plus make it look like HBK had to damn near kill him to get the pinfall)..

I think they knew they were going to do a high spot ending, but didnt know how cool it would be.. over the last month Shelton has pulled the T-bone suplex off the ladder, the ladder run, springboard superplex, spring board closeline (awesome spot from last night, I thought they were going to try and give him a new finisher) and now a spring board into a superkick... the guy is absolutely killing himself trying to get over, but they keep booking him against the most over guys in the WWE... if he had done these moves against a heel (say Hassan or Edge) people would be lighting their first born on fire and throwing it in the ring in support of him.. but I guess part of the problem is there arent any heels outside of Angle (and I guess Eddy now) that can keep up with him.
 
Thats why during the draft they should send Shelton and the IC title to Smackdown for Jordan and the US title.

Also heading to Smackdown should be.....

Sure it'll never happen but I can dream.
 
at least send Benoit and HBK to Smackdown and bring JBL and Cena over to Raw.. if we are trying to make one show watchable and put the crap on the other.. .. oh, and send Davari to SD for the CW division.

SD can have actual matches and Raw can have a bunch of different people cut half hour promos and some dancing Divas.
