Cena, Michaels, Hogan, Christian, and Jericho all in the same ring. Greatest RAW ever, just for that amount of awesomeness in one place.

Plus that Flair/Angle. Holy crap!

Oh and Batista didn't work tonight... that pretty much cements he's going to Smackdown.

Well, to be fair, he was in a grueling match last night.

But yeah, I agree.

What was Batista referring to when he said he lost something last night? Did HHH ride his pop his cherry on the way down the chocolate highway to the banana split?

Haha, I dunno, it seemed like he was about to cry.

edit: ah, we get our daily fill of no-selling by Hogan

Eh, it was Hogan, but I still can't help but mark out for him anyway. :D And LOL @ at Hogan doing the "You can see me" hand thing. :)

I knew it wouldn't be the Rock as soon as Christian and Jericho said "well, we're near Hollywood...could it be...NAAAH!" No way they'd mention the mystery partner like that. Although I read last week that Hogan wasn't supposed to show up until the July 4th RAW. Maybe he'll be back again.

I take that hollywood thing as a double-meaning. Hollywood Hulk Hogan. :D

As we noted a week or so ago, Vince McMahon was very impressed with Rob Van Dam's mic skills at the ECW PPV and plans to give him more mic time for better character development on RAW.

Woo!

Interesting; I just read on Rajah.com that the WWE is telling Matt Hardy not to sign with TNA as they want him to come back and feud with Edge. Part of me wants him to tell them to go fuck themselves, but I don't give a rat's ass about TNA either.

Come back Matt! Come back Matt!

I can not see how that angle would work? How can you have a guy whose best friend stabbed him in the back and stole the love of his life, work together and not bust each other up in a fight.....

I say trade Edge to SD and then bring Hardy back...

I'm thinking it's an attempt to get Coach doing a better job commentating. He was very annoying at the start of the show but improved as it went on.

I don't know, but all the fans obviously know all about this situation and it would certainly make the WWE money, whiich is all they really care about.

First Smackdown! draft pick revealed this evening:

It's
CHRISTIAN
!!!! He's going to replace Big Show in the SD! six man title match.

Does that mean the final pick isn't going to be anybody special then? or will it really be Batista?

But man, I like
Christian
and don't get to watch Smackdown! much...guess it's time to start taping it or something.

Good pick, I hope Batista is next and then have
Christian
win the six-man match and face Batista for the title. Or it might be better to leave Batista off and just have
Christian
win the damn six man title match (which I doubt would happen).

Its the Masterpiece, so that means I walk away and do something more entertaining :)

I know who he is, it's just, um, RAW ended like 2 hrs ago.

edit: Lyte Edge, where are you getting your spoilers from?

2nd SD pick:
Batista. They are building up to a JBL vs Batista main event at GAB.

As expected. Gives SD! that top babyface it needs though

Good draft picks overall, although it should have heavily favored Smackdown, which it didn't. And again, I think it's 100% retarded that we're supposed to believe that these draft picks were all completely random. The midnight trading deadline thing is probably so a couple of mid-lower card guys can switch brands. Doesn't look like there will be any major trades.

EDIT: Full spoilers

*Smackdown opened with a recap of Teddy Long announcing plans for a new Smackdown champion to be crowned tonight.

*Muhammad Hussan did an interview saying no one can defeat him, and complaining he was a prisoner in his own country. He called out Undertaker saying Taker didnÂ’t deserve to be in the Smackdown championshpip match tonight. Undertaker came out and chokeslammed Daivari.

*WWE Cruiserweight champion Paul London vs. Chavo Guerrero was stopped after Mexicool hit the ring and laid out both. They came out with the lawn mowers like last week and cut a promo saying they weren’t going to take it from the “gringos.”

*Backstage, Eddie Guerrero was interviewed. He was smiling and the interviewer asked why he was so happy, since he lost last week. Guerrero said he was smiling because he knew that Rey Mysterio was going to be in the ring later tonight begging Eddie not to “tell the truth.”

*Backstage, Melina said it was going to be her night to shine.

*Melina pinned Michelle McCool. MNM came to ringside after the finish and hit the Snapshot after the bell. Heidenreich made the save and cleared the ring.

*Eddie Guerrero came to the ring and showed a video of Guerrero at a playground talking to Rey Mysterio’s son in a “creepy way” offering to tell him a bedtime story. Mysterio hit the ring and Guerrero asked him if he thought it was time his son knew the truth. Rey asked Guerrero not to do this and Eddie told him to get on his knees and beg him. Rey did and Guerrero pulled out candy and smashed it in Rey’s face, walking off.

*Six-Way Elimination match: Christian vs. JBL vs. Chris Benoit vs. Undertaker vs. Muhammad Hussan vs. Booker T. Order of Elimination: Undertaker is disqualified for hitting Hussan with a chair. Hussan went to the back and was never officially eliminated. JBL pinned Chris Benoit. Christian pinned Booker. JBL pinned Christian to win the match.

*Teddy Long came out holding a sack with the “Smackdown title” saying that JBL won the match but not the Smackdown title, since Long was just informed they don’t need a Smackdown champion.

*WWE World champion BatistaÂ’s music hits and he comes to the ring, faces off with JBL and brawls with him.

So, it was as I expected the draft was very Raw heavy to build towards Vengence, and then became Smackdown heavy towards the end. So, Tomko is probably Y2J's Problem Solver now, I would expect Matt Morgan to join CC as well. I still think Eugene comes over in a trade.. why build a Heidenreich MNM feud without giving Heidenreich a partner, and lets face it Eugene is perfect.

The Bookerman said:
are you out of your goddamn mind?!

FUCK NO.

Nope I'd just prefer to watch Smackdown over Raw. You dont have to listen to JR and the King or put up with HHH on Smackdown. I'd throw Heidenreich in for free, Does that sweeten the deal? :D

No fucking way, instead Smackdown should take Snitsky, Chris Masters, and Viscera and Raw gets Undertaker & Christian.

If they did that Raw would have all the good talent and Smackdown would be void of anyone of interest.....

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! ;)

That's the point, RAW back as the top show on USA Networks, and Smackdown, which will leave UPN anyway goes to USA as well to the Saturday/Sunday time slots.

I'm Glad Christian got drafted to SD....He will be able to have more of the spotlight as a true top heel on the roster. I was strongly hoping he would go to SD with one of the final picks because face it, getting over as a super heel on raw has been damn near impossible over the last 3 years because of HHH; add Kurt Angle, the newly turned heel Y2J, Edge who is constantly pushed, and also Carlito who gets more over week after week, things would have just been too convoluted on Raw for Captain Charisma to shine as he should or reach his true potential.

On Smackdown, he can come right in and undisputedly be one of the top 2 or 3 heels on the program. He can work alone, or be paired up with someone like Matt Morgan..Not only would they make for some hilarious exchanges, but Christian and Matt Morgan would remind me of HBK and Deisel, Morgan is a better enforcer/bodygaurd/sidekick for a Maineventer than Tomko was, as he has the potential to be a major player himself..unlike Tomko. Hell with both Carlito and Y2J on Raw Christian would be perfect for his own show segment..."The Peep Show" anybody?? I know its a little corny but it fits.

I watched last night and I was surprised to see HBK and Hulk. It was fun.

But damn, why pose for so long guys?? :(

This is like the 10th time HBK and Hulk have done that "This is the last time, I promise!" pose off at the end of a match :lol

You do know he already had a show called the Peep show right? It was back when he and Jericho were trying to nail Lita and Trish. He never actually gotta go through with it cuz jericho came out. But that was the name he gave it.

With that said I'd love to see it on Smackdown.

It appears we will get more of these dreadful Searches in the future :

From the PWTorch :

Raw drew a 4.4 rating, well above the recent average. Those who enjoy the Diva Search will be pleased to learn that it was the highest rated segment of the show drawing a 4.7 rating, a tie with the overrun featuring Hulk Hogan & Shawn Michaels & John Cena vs. Tyson Tomko & Christian & Chris Jericho. The lowest rated quarter hour was 3.7.
