Did anyone ever like Dusty Rhodes. I want to know who the hell cheered for this guy. Even as a kid i hated his guts.

I used to like Rhodes and Magnum TA as a kid. Rhodes also had some good matches with Flair when I was YOUNG (i.e. they were probably terrible).

I don't care for wrestling anymore, but growing up in the heart of WCW (then NWA), yeah, I was a fan. Of course, it's easy for a fat guy who can't talk and has a freaking sun spot on his stomach to entertain an 8 year old.


Anyone know if Magnum TA is still alive? He was paralyzed when I was really young...it bothered me a lot at the time...


edit---Apparently he wasn't paralyzed I know the road he crashed on, I used to work right there. He now walks without a cane, that makes me happy again

You know what...fuck watching Raw tommorow..I'm just going to watch HBK's promo from last week in Montreal from 9pm to 11pm, take 8 shots of Vodka and then go to sleep thinking of what could/should have been..

I mean WTF wwe.. You Kill Mohammed Hassan, Bury Captain Charisma, and destroy a potentially classic heel run by HBK just when it was getting great. They bring Matt back which is GREAT yet after ALL THIS FUCKING build up he has a horrid short match against Edge. Kurt is stuck wrestling Eugene, and Benoit is a fucking midcarder again!!! But low and behold Cena keeps getting pushed, Batista's keeps his title, and Hogan gets over AGAIN!!!!!!!

I swear to gawd the WWE must have two seperate creative departments.. One in which comes up with brilliant ingenious ideas, and then one that does nothing but think of ways to take a big nasty milky shit on them.

It was awesome. Much better than their match in ROH two years ago. Both guys have improved so much since then. Aries Daniels was good too but could have used 5 more minutes. But the biggest surpise was Lynn vs Waltman. Waltman worked his ass off. Abyss vs Hoyt was pretty decent aswell. The WWE should take note of two big guys who can actually go. Havent watched the main event yet.

Main event was kinda blah. Alright brawl but no where near the other matches IMO.

And yeah, if Waltman keeps it up he's gonna end up being the comeback of the year. He's been pretty solid for the past couple of months and really great at Sacrifice. Guess he decided to take pride in his work again.

There's two problems I had with the HBK/hogan match tonight

#1: They had him drop his summerslam undefeated streak

#2: The "I needed to know" thing.

HOWEVER, there are two things I have to commend HBK for:

#1: He jobbed cleanly to hogan.

#2: Judging from the results I'm reading, Shawn Michaels actually got a great match out of Hulk fucking Hogan. omg.

Ok after watching some of SumerSlam again it was a bit better than I thought, the HBK/Hogan ending, spoiled the PPV for me but there was some good stuff there!

They made Benoit look like a fucking killing machine which is what he should be, Orlando did not deserve to be on the PPV let alone holding the belt for about 4 months and WWE showed everyone this in the 10 seconds match!

The Edge/Hardy fight ended probably the only way it could and gave WWE a chance to make another match (the fans might not be as pumped for Edge/Hardy II as they seemed to be for this one)

Rey/Eddie was one of the best one-on-one ladder matches in a while with some nice new innovative spots. They could also end the feud now if they wanted or cool it off for a while amd rekindle it for Mania if they wanted

I am actually starting to like fully heel Orton again, it was a bad mistake turning him face, he could be a great heel for some match come mania if he continues to work the crowd well, maybe he will fight against Batista at Mania (would be better if he fought Benoit or Eddie though)...

JBL/Batista was a good as it could have been, they kept it short with nice spots, they need to drop JBL out of the main event now SERIOSLY!!!

Y2J/Cena, started off very slow and was rather boring till the last few mins until the crowd split and started fighting with each other. The transition into the FU was nice to!

Hogan/HBK was not what it could have been and I am bit mad over it, not just because Hogan won but a lot more could have been done with the match..

How does his character suck? It's awesome and EVERYBODY else loves it but you internet wannabe smarks...

You do realize that many WWE wrestlers only stay with the company for the money, and that most of the wrestlers are depressed with the direction of the company dont you? Also, there are wrestlers who turn down WWE contracts like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Frankie Kazarian etc...
