i had asked this question to a few people on AIM. i think majority would want the "any team i want!" system over 3 star or less.

what does everyone else think?

I would rather have an even field. If there are people who are using 3 star teams, then I don't want to have any significant advantage in recruiting. I don't mind this setup though.

I know it's fun building up shitty schools and grabbing the occasional random star player, but a lot of the fun I had in '11 was recruiting against the other top schools in the nation, regardless of location, and grabbing more pipelines. I think if we do 3 star schools and less, that aspect of the dynasty will go away.

So my vote is for us to all be major schools but I'm not against the other option. And I might pick the U over UT, but who knows...school/region complex right now

i was a 3 star school and worked up to 5 star within 2 years. DCX was a 6 star school and worked down to 1 star within a season.

they are overrated, even you recognize that!

video looked good. i liked the hard hit on the early run play. the rep from EA is horrible on defense. "let me take control of the FS and move him out of the way for an easy completion!"

Nah, they were a top 3 team last year who were jewed by scheduling. Every team they played had 2 weeks to prepare for them. When they had the chance to prepare, they dismantled my Spartans =(

and Richardson might be unstoppable in this game

hahaha, but yeah, there was some truth to the Schedule statement. Was a tough one. Still hate the losses to LSU and Auburn, knowing how close those games were. The hope is that the Defense which did blow it on a handful of plays (and lost the game for it), will be better after a years experience.
