Just saw your message... guess you messaged me while I left the box to download the xbl update. Couldn't play anyway since I just got the game
and I'm silver
! I haven't played a console game in forever... feels weird... It'll take a few days to get used to this.

[edit] Wow... practice mode is actually worse than in Madden....

I'll give them a shot or go back to running the option. I just need to finish LA Noire soon, then I can focus on NCAA and Starcraft.

I joined for Erin Brockovich discussion
I had been messing around with creating a playbook. Pretty thorough, though it's not like drawing up routes or anything, but allows you to use any play they've put into the game.

Will take awhile to whittle it down to a nice and balanced playbook. 375 plays (on offense at least) and that almost feels like too many.

they cause problems in online play. so dont get to comfortable with it

Yea, I found it quite perplexing that their was no random play option, so stupid. I totally want to hit the start menu every time I want a new play...

Just played an AI game against Bama. Holy crap! I can't imagine how hard it is vs a human opponent if the AI gave me trouble. :\ I can usually breeze through AI games.

It seems like CPU is for real this year. Very small sample size, but I've actually had a harder time so far against CPU opponents than I have against human ones.

maybe it's the CPU's way of cheating! i have played about 8 games online and i really can't say i've seen any suction blocking. i don't go and look at every play but everything has been very fair.

just lost a 5 OT game against CB -_-

played against CPU LSU, just horrible, another 3 or 4 INT's.

But I beat up on Oklahoma...

Personally, I'd bump Pass Blocking up a smudge, or drop pass rush a smudge. Thought it might just be the Tackles that I've used, being poor pass blocking.

Ror, you able to play online yet? Can Silver play online?

I haven't the CPU yet, but I bet they'll throw less picks in two games against me than Livewire did. Shit was like playing on 8th Grade Difficulty

Yeah, there is a little bit of rubber-banding. :p In my two games, it was the only time it happened, so at least it's not as bad as Madden 11. It was just that this one was HUGE. Hard not to notice.

im pretty sure they;ve said suction blocking isnt 100% completely gone, but mostly gone. i havent noticed anything terrible thus far.


im actually really liking NCAA12 so far. basically NCAA11 with some important gameplay fixes and some other nice tweaks here and there. Thats pretty much what i wanted

Yeah, I was watching that Itunes Foo Fighter show when that happened. Damn Censor was hardcore the whole time. Even bleeped out regular words, for starting with "sh" and "f"

I wonder what happens in a human vs. human matchup, of 2 coordinators.

lol, I was looking at them last night and thinking to myself that I would probably never even get 50% of them. Good thing I don't care about achievements, they seem pretty hardcore.
