Next week Summer of Arcade starts. I'm sure something during that will take your fancy :D I'm getting them all (well didn't want Castlevania but I get 1200 points free when all are bought so that comes for free technically).

You best stock up, Hydrophobia, Shank and MANY more are coming too :lol it's going to be an expansive year...

Got a quick favor to ask you guys out there -- at the moment I'm on shitty internet (this should change soon!) but I need to get Leaderboard data for Deadliest Warrior. Through guts and hard work I somehow downloaded DeathSpank over several nights:lol

If someone could tell me what Leaderboards are available on the game, and if the game has a "Total" score as well? If so, what is that total?

Is it usual for SNK games to be delayed this much after a date is set or is 2k2 Unlimited Match the exception?

The wait is killing me, what is taking so long? I just hope they don't announce a release for December because its coming to PSN too or something.

The wait's killing me too. I have 800 allards ready and waiting for it. I'm hoping for the ability to play without filter/interpolation so I can have my razor sharp pixes.

Plants Vs Zombies priced at 1200 points with new Multiplayer in September.

Sounds quite fine for all that they're adding. I'd pay that much for Laura Shigihara's excellent soundtrack for the game ^_^

Glad to see it FINALLY has a release date; most of Pop Cap's other games don't appeal to me that much, but PvsZ seemed to fit like a glove from the first moment.

They also announced PvsZ, Peggle, and Zuma will be released on a complimation later in the fall for 19.99 MSRP, I believe.

Leaderboard types:
Ranked Match
Ranked Weekly
Tournament
Tournament Weekly

Not sure what tournament is. There's no total indicator and no way to instantly scroll to the bottom of a list.

Can't wait for the new Lara Croft, bummer it's a couple of weeks away. Oh, and it's "Winter of Arcade" here in New Zealand (one presumes Australia also).

Sounds like Online only. Oh well :)

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (the downloadable game based on graphic novel series which is also being made into a movie) is a PlayStation exclusive. That's right, PS3 owners get their hands on the game first, on August 10. The good news is that Xbox 360 fans won't be waiting long to join in on the fun.

The four-player co-op beat-em-up arrives on Xbox Live Arcade just two weeks later, on August 25. Start saving your magical Microsoft coins. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World costs 1200 MSP.

Sounds like it's exclusive by virtue of the fact that they wanted to release it during the Summer of Arcade. Lucky for Sony because they never pay for exclusives :lol

Big DLC for Trials:

July 20, 2010 (Helsinki, Finland) — Gamers demanded it, and today RedLynx delivered, finally revealing Trials HD - Big Thrills, the hotly anticipated next expansion pack for its best-selling, award-winning Xbox LIVE Arcade game.

"Ever since we released the first Trials HD expansion, gamers have demanded more," said Antti Ilvessuo, the game's lead designer and creative director of RedLynx.

"They email us every day, they post on our message boards, and lately they've started calling my house and chasing me down the street," he said. "With this announcement, I can now emerge from hiding and get back to making games."

Forty new levels

With forty new professional tracks lovingly crafted by RedLynx's level designers, the new expansion will bring a whole new world of obsessive challenge and bone-crushing gameplay to the game's large and loyal fan base.

User-Created content

Unique with this release, RedLynx will also include ten user-created tracks, fully credited and featured right alongside the professional levels created by RedLynx. Everyone whose track is included will in addition receive cash or prizes, as well as in-game credit.

"We're thrilled - no pun intended - to present this contest with our partners at Microsoft," said Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx. "We couldn't think of a better way to give back to our fans than to give them the opportunity to have their work featured right alongside ours in the next expansion of the legendary Trials HD game."

Cash prizes

Gamers can visit BigThrillsContest.com to view the rules, the prizes, and the process for submitting a track for inclusion in the Trials HD - Big Thrills expansion pack.

Trials HD - Big Thrills is scheduled for a Q4 release.

WooT! Man, SOA keeps changing from a big personal event, to a massive waiting session for whats suppose to come AFTER it.

Very suprised to see it's coming out so swiftly after the PS3 version. Much shorter wait than I was preparing for!

Big DLC for Trials:

Ooh, more for Trials... maybe I should take this extra 400 points of mine and catch up on the last DLC. I wish they would patch the game with a better way to share custom levels though. Even if it was cumbersome with a shit search engine, I'd play this every day if I could hop online and download a new track.

Two weeks, not too bad. Summer of Arcade then this then Plants Versus Zombies. Time to rack up on those point cards boys and girls.

I love how two of my most anticipated games of the year (Shank and Scott Pilgrim) are coming out on the same day, which also happens to be the first day of school for me. At least I now have a reason not to dread that week.

Shank's suppose to have a "Co-op component" where you can perform double attacks? Wha? (And it's suppose to be LOCAL ONLY, before anyone ask.)

Shank and Scott Pilgrim, a week after expecting to shell out for Summer of Arcade titles... -sigh- This also makes it near impossible that we'll see KoF 2002UM before September... Not to mention things like Clash of Heroes and Comic Jumper...

This is getting kinda ridiculous! :lol

I am not sure Comic Jumper is 2010.

Also Meat Boy has been aiming for "Summer 2010" release as well.

Dead Rising: Case Zero is also likely for September, since it pretty much has to come out before DR2.

When I got my Xbox a month ago, the deal of the week was last year's Summer of Arcade titles. In addition to those games there was also an "Inventory Clearing" (lol) sale that had some older games for half price. The next week the deal of the week was some decent titles but recently its been single franchise discounts, such as South Park and Assassin's Creed, and I see that the next few weeks it's going to be Borderlands and Forza DLC.

My question is this" Is the Deal of the Week usually Add-On content or is it usually games?

Usually games, but with people being expected to buy a game a week it'd be silly to make it sales on games.

Cool. I'm kicking myself for not buying N+ when it was half price. I don't know if I can wait for it to go on sale again.

You bought an Xbox right when MS started taking the deal of the week seriously. Before that it was usually like one game or one piece of DLC.

Yeah, I got a bunch of stuff on sale, like Shadow Complex, Trials HD, 'Splosion Man, Geometry Wars 2, PB Winterbottom and Castle Crashers. I got so many good games, at such good prices it actually makes me hesitant to buy games at full price, as I feel like they'll be on sale eventually.

When are new games available to download? Something like 1AM PST or is it in the middle of the day? Can't wait to play Limbo.

Good to see Scott Pilgrim getting released so soon after the PSN version. I planned on picking it up on PS3, but I really want to use my arcade stick with it, so 360 it is. Shank on the same day? Even better.

check at 1am, it might be up. they mostly drop at night... mostly.

not sure if old but SWOS, rocket riot, chime and a couple others are DotW on destination arcade. Thinking of pointlessly picking up SWOS.

P.s. Limbo is amazing.

Just checked out destination Arcade, man it needs some UI work and styling (some very pixelated enlarged text n images)

Sortings good and find similar games ok.

Looks like it had what friends have info pulled :(
Also guessing it's us only as it has a ESRB rating sort option.
