Based on the demo's - both games are pretty good. I liked Break Steady the more I played it, but may give the demo a few more plays before buying. 1942 seems like fun, but I had the same feeling with Commando's and after playing a few more times it got boring real quick.

Key Features include:

* Fun and fast-paced next-gen time management
* 7 hospitals, 9 levels of difficulty per hospital
* Multiple on-screen levels – manage different floors in bigger hospitals by taking patients up and down the elevators
* 3D graphics
i love when marketing gurus list 3D graphics as a key feature

I think if you put the word 'golf' on something, it will sell regardless of it's quality (not that Tee It Up is a bad game, there's just not enough of it).

Good to see it's doing well then. i think I'm going to pick it up, and hopefully with the good sales we'll see DLC soon.

well from what it sounds like, its just like a cake mania or diner dash game (which are 2d). Noting that it is 3d is actually informative.

Warner making episodic Watchmen games
News by Rob Purchese

Warner Bros. has partnered with Deadline Games to create at least two downloadable games based on the Watchmen film.

The first of these episodes will be available alongside the movie launch next March, according to Variety.

The decision to go with shorter downloadable offerings - PSN, Xbox Live Arcade, and PC - was made to achieve a better quality final product than most movie tie-ins, apparently.

"We don't want a low-quality console game that will get lost at retail," said Warner big shot Samantha Ryan. "A downloadable game allows us to deliver the experience that fans expect."

Deadline Games is responsible for Total Overdose, Chilli Con Carnage, and upcoming action outing Faith and a .45.

The Watchmen is an acclaimed comic book written by Alan Moore (V for Vendetta, From Hell) and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. The film is being created by 300 and Dawn of the Dead (2004) director Zack Snyder.

Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest has been confimred to hit PC September 19th. I wonder does this mean we might get Darwinia+ (which includes both Darwinia and Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest) around the same time?

Yeah. Totally expected that. 800 is new 400. Should have online co-op mode included. After adding new modes they kind of stopped short.

They gave a pretty definitive answer about why there's no online co-op already.

Bizarre said that the game has too much going on and is too precise for it to perform reliably under varying bandwidth speeds. I wish I had the exact quote I read, but that was the long and short of it.

Yeah they said they couldn't get it to work b/c even minor latency made it unplayable. I'm guessing same reason SSHD doesn't have online play.

Did anyone else download the new Puzzle Quest add-on?
Yeah, I've got the first two achievements. There are a lot of ghouls and ur-ghouls in the first part. If you are a magic user, you might find it tough-going for a while. Not sure where to go next to further the story. I only have on quest left open in that area and it seems unrelated, but I'll plug on with it anyway.

Unknown at this time.

It will probably be just that maybe since Geo is one of those "primary" type games. I cant see them adding something like Castle Crashers to even though that would be awesome

Any chance we get Samurai Showdown 2 though?

Maybe, but right now Geo Wars 2 stands as the only release next week.

You keep saying this, but Bionic Commando has been confirmed for Japan next week :P
http://news.dengeki.com/elem/000/000/094/94304/

Although apparently it is coming to US in August? Now that's a first!

Having said that, I am now worried that Geometry Wars 2 might not be coming out in Japan. After all, it is published by Activision this time. If anyone has some "worldwide" confirmation to put my fears at rest, please do.

Also, 1942 did NOT come out in Japan, even though the press release on Monday said it was a worldwide release.

That bit of news is the only thing I can find towards a release next week, and Johnnyram here is telling us now that this release date is for Japan only. That, that is not making a lot of sense unless some new percent is being established here, that of a PSN-Style regional release. So, I guess the answer is both yes and no to Bionic Commando Rearmed next week as it stands.

yeah Geo Wars on 360 and Eden on PSN chucks Rearmed bang up against some strong competition on launch on both systems.

And weren't they going for a world wide release and it would be highly unusual that it would hit XBLA in Japan only first.

Yeah very very odd and confusing right now but all will be getting bought anyway.

Please no. This has always been a great positive for the XBLA platform I really hope they don't start with this.

The Xbox.com splash page is not up either... yet.

Indeed, that has been what I have been looking for, some sign on Xbox.com, no splash page, no forum, nothing, not even on Xbox.com Japan as far as I can tell, that alarms me.

Haha, that may be a great positive for you, but the number of XBLA games Japan has missed out on is significant :(

Yea, I don't think anybody wants to see that. There is something else compounding matters here, Microsoft has been playing around with the release dates quite a bit lately. Shred Nebula gets a slot, then loses it to Double D Dodgeball, which in turn got bumped up two weeks to make room for Geo Wars 2 which got bumped up a week for........something.

yeah looking at it from a region where you don't get some releases I feel bad for you dude, but on release that its released in all the regions that are going o get it has always been a plus.

UK PSN is terrible for stuff showing up late after all the interest has gone
