I can't seem to play these, I like the relaxed gameplay but usually the colors light green & yellow are too similar for me to be able to recognize them which ruins the gameplay.

Lumines is the same way, i always die at the stage where the blocks are close in shades of color.

I wish developers would pick colors they aren't close in shade.

I've never had that problem. You may have some type of color blindness.

Speaking of puzzlers, I really wish Sega would bring Puyo Pop to XBLA. That should be a no brainer. Sega has also been sitting on Chu Chu Rocket.

Yes I am partially color blind, as most males are. :(

Been looking at Ebay(Cag!) for deals on XBLA goods

This seller here, Sells points of 4k for 30$. Its 38.99 but if you make an offer for 30. He accepts it. I've bought 2 codes from him so far and both worked. 8k Space bucks at 40% off. Makes all those 15$ games under 10 ^_^

The 2nd seller actually sells game codes normally from 30-40% off. I've got both SOTN and Peggle from him. Bit slow but it was worth it.

Just thought I share the love with gaf

Just a quick update, this guy (the first one) is now using the weird Ebay Classifieds for Xbox Points. You can now get 4000 Microsoft Points for $30 or 1600 Points for $15.

Classifieds basically get around ebay entirely (it's weird) where you e-mail the dude, he gives you his PayPAL account e-mail and you send him the money outside of Ebay.

I just did it with an 1600 Point card for my US account, got the code promptly and it works.

Rocket Riot is a fucking blast, it's a shame that it seems like few bought it. If Battlefield really is coming out this week, I hope it's a double week with Mark of the wolves included.

I have a question, I have a 32 inch wide screen plasma tv but most of the arcade games I buy have the 2 bars on the side is there any way to prevent the burn in. Im scared to play them for to long.

I've been saving my points for MvC2, but if battlefield comes out that'll screw up my savings dammit. When MvC2 coming out again? It's this month right?
End of July

Can I buy from this guy with a regular visa credit card (check card) and not have to have a Paypal account?

Sorry, never bought from Ebay, just sold.

GOOD LORD that sounds sketchy, but you said it works, so I'm going to email him for a 4000 point card.

Did you send an email thru eBay, or just directly to the email he has listed in the ad?

I sent an e-mail through Ebay to him, and he told me how it works. Classifieds are a new way to do stuff it seems, trying to get into that lucrative craigslist market.

It is sketchy sounding (dude is in China) which is why I went for the 1600 point one. It worked, so that's all good and done. I guess just doing the classified version is cheaper for him.

I think you need a PayPAL account with this guy, but you can esily put your credit card into that.

Well holy shit. I just sent him $30 for a 4000 point card, and he emailed me the code within 5 minutes. It worked perfectly. Thanks for the tip Rlan!

I think I might order another one right now... I mean, I never see points this cheap!

No problem.

I just wish someone like that had Aussie points. Aussie points are $25AUD for 1500, this is $20AUD for 1600. Ack.

So how does one obtain so many codes to make money selling them for $30 a piece like this?
Most likely stolen credit cards+Amazon.
Amazon has a report on the most stolen items, XBL Codes(Specifically points) are number 1 from what I heard :lol

2nd, They use the Classified ads since then Ebay doesn't get a cut(They get their cut for them placing the ad up and that's it...its not per sale). So hes probably making an extra 3 or so dollars now on each sold. He was originally going be selling them for 35, but knocked it back to 30 with the classified ads.

3rd, Its fantastic. All games are 40% off now. I loaded up on 8k the other day instead of using that money to buy BlazBlue. I'm prepared for the summer of awesomeness <3 <3 <3. Garou, MvC2, Shadow Complex, Worms Armageddon, Turtles in Time(If good), Explosion Man, and maybe even BF1943

4th, Just noting but on 1200-1600point games, Akino is normally cheaper if you directly buy the games from him(Thats if he has the game). On 800, he is either the same price or a bit higher.

And yes, Points that cheap have turned me into a much more impulsive buyer. Big difference when the games are 10-15 dollars to 6-9dollars :lol

Whoa whoa whoa, who said MVC2 was coming out at the end of July? I was always under the impression that it was July 1.

It's part of Summer of Arcade which begins July 22nd with Ninja Turtles. MVC2 will be out one of the next four Wednesdays after that.

It's safe to assume that we'll (only) get half of this game, with the other half being a DLC add-on later... just like Arkanoid LIVE. If you look at Taito's track record (Arkanoid XBLA, Bubble Bobble WiiWare, Space Invaders WiiWare), it's pretty easy to predict that Taito will also milk this game for additional revenue.

Pretty much. Puzzle Bobble Wii / Plus is already out in Japan and from all accounts this will be another version of that. That has 2 200 Wii Point Expansions.

The strange thing actually is that SIE and Arkanoid Live both got their expansions released last week - but SIE's was a 128kb unlock file, while Arkanoid had 2-3 meg files instead!

Looks like his classifieds are taken down. Is this still safe? I want to get one.

Paypal no longer lets you send money to his account, so I would guess, no.

Congratulations all of you just inadvertently supported terrorism.

God dammit I want 4000 points for $30 :(

Thanks! Just bought one...
Looks like a german seller. But the payment goes to a chinese name :lol .

I took a big gamble with these and bought a bunch about 20 minutes ago. But at least this dude was selling directly through Ebay, so there is a record to track and it seems more legit. I hope it works.

It let me get 2 through buy it now PayPal just a few minutes ago.
Just have to check if the code was sent to me in a bit.
Too bad I don't use a US account. Might have to make one. Was thinking about giving 1 to my friend, since he can never afford points. Good thing I helped set up his gold account, because I know his password. Maybe I will make it a surprise.

I'm honestly tempted to buy a third :lol

They probably locked his account down since your not supposed to sell digital codes through ebay.

Who did you buy from? I bought from kurhn_de about half an hour ago and still haven't heard anything yet. Just trusting on random GAFers that this guy is legit (which was probably pretty stupid to do).

I bought from the XBLman days ago...I was the 2nd one on CAG to go on blind faith and buy two :lol

Going try out the German dude next. Honestly, 30 dollars for 4000 points is too good of a deal to pass up. I rather stock up now while its cheap.

Yes EternalGamer, kurhn_de is who I used. Check your spam and if not there Email him.

Tried to redeem my codes, and I get this:
Purchases cannot be completed on Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the Web at this time. Please purchase this item using your Xbox console.
boo

I just got an e-mail from him saying he wanted to talk with me via phone or recieve "proof" that I am the holder of the account. I sent him a response back asking what sort of proof he wanted. I don't really want to risk spam phone calls on my cell. Hope it still works out.

That doesn't mean the code is bad. I've gotten that message before, turned on the Box, entered the code straight away and it worked fine. It just sucks using the 360 pad to input the code.

I know. I just have to use the crap controller to type, sign into my friends account on my xbox and I was not gonna tell my special other.

Picked up some more, Quick and wonderful, Done within 10minutes. 4k richer.

Not spending another dime on games for the summer, I've just spent about the same amount past few days as I did for the past 8 or so months prior :lol
