The best twin stick shooter (and there are a lot of them) is Geometry Wars 2. It's easy to pick up and addictive as hell to play, especially if you have friends to try to beat high scores with.
Puzzle Quest and Gyromancer are both neat, if you're into that kind of puzzle/RPG hybrid stuff.
OutRun and After Burner are both fantastic updates of classic arcade games. The achievements in After Burner are painfully easy, though.
Marble Blast Ultra is one of the oldest games on the Arcade, but it's also fun as hell. Think Marble Madness with much more enormous levels and the ability to jump. Getting par time on all the levels is one hell of an adventure.
My apologies if this has already been discussed to death or mentioned somewhere else in the thread, but I figured this would be a good place to ask.
Is it possible to play The Dishwasher without being signed in with a gamertag? Since its the DotW and I loved the demo, I want to buy it BUT, with the achievements being such oddball numbers, I don't want to get an achievement for 12 GS points and have it mess up my GS. (Yes, very OCD, I know
I tried to play some other games I have without signing in with my gamertag and it says I can't save anything without doing so. I assume this is the case for almost every game.
Can I just create another gamertag to use for just this one game or does Microsoft look down on that? I don't know why that would matter to them, but you never know.

You always have to be signed with the Xbox 360, either an offline or a Live account.
But of course you can make a Silver secondary account to play the game you bought with your main Live account, no problem at all.
And regarding the odd points, you can try to reach the game whole 200 pts, so it will not be an issue....

Yeah, I wouldn't care so much about the odd points cause they will always add up to 200 or 1000, but this game has been said to be very difficult to get the full 200. Knowing my luck, I'd end up getting everything except the final achievement and have my score forever ruined.
