I like Hearts alot. But I must warn you that onlineplay is bugged so that system randomly locks up during play.

i just wanted to say that robotron 2084 co-op kicks ass! last night Eggo and i had a marathon going for a while. no voice chat, but i was assuming that we were trying to get the achievement of the 10th wave on co-op.
anyway, it was a blast. despite the random running into shit, we had some chemistry going where we just knew what direction to shoot and which person to pick up. it was pretty intense trying to figure out just what each other was doing without actually communicating. :lol
for those of you that haven't tried co-op. basically, each player is given the task to either "move" or "fire". the host always starts off with the "move" function while the second player is in control of the firing direction. this switches off each wave, so you're never stuck doing ths same task.
all i have to say is, fuck you stupid robot bitches that kept killing us last night. god i hate that wave.

Yeah, that was a lot of fun. The 'one person shooting while the other moves' mechanic is fun and involves a lot of teamwork. It was my first time playing Robotron co-op, and I never really got into Robotron back in the day, so I'm still learning. It should be 10x better with voice chat next time... preventing those 'accidents' where at the start of a level you're moving right and I'm shooting guys to the left and we walk straight into a guy.
Oh, is there a way to tell what wave you're on? How close were we to wave 10? Could never figure that out.
Me and IceDragon co-op was fun last night. "I'm going up, I'm going up! FUCK!" We made it to wave 9 and we were only 5000 points away from top spot, so I don't know if anyone has gotten the wave 10 co-op award yet, but I got my wave 5 co-op achievement during Versus mode (I got to wave 5 while battling someone). I've made it to wave 13 by myself, so I could potentially get the wave 10 'co-op' achievement through that as long as my opponent doesn't die. Maybe we could set something up where one player tries to stay in each wave as long as possible while the other gets to wave 10. Its possible.

last time i played PDZ w/ voice chat, she threw a pillow at my ass because i was too loud. :lol

i've only made it to wave 11. robotron is such a hard game to play, control wise. but it's definitely part of the challenge, and definitely what makes it fun.
Sure, I'm at work for the afternoon but anytime I see ya I'll invite. The trick is getting the people, I know that's obvious, but in just one of those 'brain' waves, you can rack up 2-3 free men if you can grab enough of the chicks. Of course, the random positioning of the people kinda makes it luck of the draw.

Still having the "ranking" achievement problem. The system just updated itself, and now I'm 12th, I see Bojtrek up there at #1. How many wins did it take for you to get the achievement?
I got the Co-Op Master achievement while I was Vs someone, so you can do it that way. It doesn't HAVE to be on co-op mode.
Also, don't play GreenLantern online. He purposely gets in the lead and dies before you can catch up (hence the 1 loss). Dunno why Midway did it this way, but it counts as a win for him even though he died first.
EDIT - whoo, new personal highscore, 410000 (13th). And at 21 and 2 Ranking battle (making me 8th overall ranking), still no achievement. Someone with a 20 and 14 record does though, as well as someone with a 11 and 2 record, so I'm getting kinda frustrated with this achievement, what do you want from me :lol
I'm beginning to think this achievement didn't unlock when it was supposed to. Its the only explanation I have.

Since neither you nor Spazbiohaz would accept my Robotron invites, I went with another friend, and we got the co-op achievement AND #1 on the co-op leaderboard by a large margin. Ha!

:lol wtf? hey, i just got 2nd on that list... finally beat icedragon7's score with my 1.7 mil. i was really hoping to get 2 mil, but it looks like that rastex would have beaten it anyway. bastard.

I vote we try to get Psychonauts on XBL Arcade and charge the equivalent of $10-$20 for it. This game would really benefit if more people could get their hands on it.

Just to repeat again, Live Arcade games are limited to 50 megs. No Psychonauts, no 3rd Strike :'(. You have the retard pak to blame, and hope that the rule changes.
BTW, not arcade related, but I was thinking of buying a gamerpicture, I'm like 20 points, that's like a quarter, that's nothing. But then I realize that leaves me with 780 points, or 380 points I can only spend on themes and more pictures. Tricky Microsoft, but now I'm hesistant to buy a picture at all.
