I have 1,700 points on my account that are burning a hole in my pocket. I really want something new, and will probably buy at least one of those games, even though they all look pretty lackluster.

I don't mind the wait as long as they're bug-testing everything thoroughly. It really pisses me off when I buy an arcade game and it's got some crippling, fun-shattering bug (i.e. the completely messed-up leaderboards in MBU). The lackluster impressions of Street Fighter from the Capcom Gamer's Day didn't seem too promising, so I hope they polish the crap out of that before I lay down points for it.

God willing it hasn't gone and broke itself, I'm about to get my grubby little hands back on my Xbox 360 in a week or so for the first time since the start of January. It's been hell and a half avoiding my baby, but looking over this it seems as if I've missed out on absolutely nothing? That's pretty damn lame.

I hope in a future dashboard update, the feature of customizing the dashboard is increased. I just feel that the control game developers have for making themes should also be given to the end user, since the start the 360s main hook has been to make the console yours through changing it to your liking.
So, as ive posted a couple of times already, got my 360 today, but the games didnt come with it ( :-/ ) so i've been playing around on Arcade.
Played Geometry wars for a bit, thing is ive played mutant storm on PC I think its a better game (not as pretty though) so i moved on, stumbled upon Outpost Kaloki X.
7 hours later i stop playing. :lol Awesome little strategy game, contols work perfectly on Xbox
I got stuck on the last level of the story scenario (Make 50,000 cash? wtf?) but im loving it anyway.
Is there any way to see a global scoreboard? I havent got any friends who have tried it :'(

I'll buy that for sure, as well as Blitz and NBA Jam (more important to me).
NBA Jam was one of the most successful arcade games ever...you'd think it would be a priority. If it had updated teams and rosters...that would be heavenly.
I'm still playing lots of Zuma and Marble Blast...I can't figure out how some guys get those ridiculously low times on MB, are there any movies around the web?

Is there any work-around for the bug in MBU where you only see your own high score?

Supposedly "they're working on it." I was sad to see that Title Update today without MBU on it. :'( When only your score appears on the list or when everyone's ranked out of order (as is the case on my box) it really detracts from the fun. It's a shame 'cuz the game's awesome.

I just wanted to say that I bested my own high score on Geometry Wars for the first time in almost three months. :lol I'm up to an incredible 358,000 now. If I can ever get to the 500,000 point achievement, then I can just quit.
last night i topped my previous best and got ~ 1,200,000. 
also got the survive 500,000 achievement finally. i think i got to 800,000 before dying. shame i kinda fell off my game at that point.

I got to around 940K twice, then lost my first life....arrrghh, so frustrating! I'm very close, though. I'm at 2.38 million right now. I love this game!

You know that slight analog-stick movement you have to do when you have to unlock locked doors in splinter cell? What I do when I have a screen full of crap is, move in a direction and do that splinter cellesque movement in the direction I'm moving, with the right analog stick (the shooting stick). Works great, normally. Just ttry to move around in a large circle doing this (when possible, obviously), and you'll be scoring more points in no time.
Also, try to memorize what kind of spawns there are, and practice ways to "evade" each one of them. After a while you will be able to handle most situations without the need of using a bomb.
The one spawn type I always use a bomb on, is that snake circle spawn, though... that's just too random to risk it.
