I have ordered a graphics card from an online store in the US to ship international. And I got this email today:

"We have contacted your bank, but have not yet received a reply. In order to
speed the verification process, please email or fax me the top portion of
your credit card statement. This will verify your name, address and account
number. Once this information is received, I will be able to process your
order."

English is not my first language and I don't know what: please email or fax me the top portion of your credit card statement means. What exactly should I email them?

Thanks

Just out of curiosity, what website did you order from? That request seems highly questionable to me.

What they want is the section of your credit card statement that is above all of the transactions made with said credit card.

What is your native language?

1) Visit your local bank and ask for that credit card statement. it will take them just a few seconds.
2) FAX it, don't e-mail it.

I guess you can use e-mail if you're encrypting with PGP or something. I personally dislike e-mailing sensitive information.
