I went to WAGs boutique and all I got was a sniff
Lately, i've been watching some old films or critally acclaimed films that I havent watched. i watched Mystic River, which was one of the greatest movies ever, I've never really felt so attached to a movie. I watched Kill Bill, which I've gotta say isn't a great film. I think i didn't expect that much gore in it:(. I also picked up Godfather. What a fucking fantastic film, apart from the fact that Vito died.

Anyway, i need to watch some more great films that I've missed. I picked up Pulp Fiction, Ive not watched it yet but I've heard great things about it. I was also thinking about resevoir dogs, but I'm not too sure about it. My knowledge of films is really bad, so i need someone to advise me some good films. Anything like Mystic River would be great.

Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.
Pulp Fiction. Watch that then report back.

Reservoir Dogs...ehh.

Good movies? Well, stay far away from movie theaters this summer..

If you liked Mystic River you'll probably like 21 Grams, and House of Sand and Fog.

Stanley Kubrick.

I just saw The Killing a couple days ago for the first time. Great, great movie. I can't believe I waited so long to see it.

That said, here are a couple I've watched recently that I've enjoyed immensely.

The Grifters (see my avatar)
Shallow Grave
Punch-Drunk Love
Dirty Pretty Things

I could go on and on...

Glory
Big Fish
Road to Perdition

Glory's the oldest one (came out in 1989), but it's very good.

If you've never seen it, check out Forrest Gump too.

I was actually surprised by 50 first dates. It was really good :)

And Wolfy.. I'm sorry.. If that's what you have to believe to validate the money you spent on that $170 tank.

Man, I really need to see these two. I keep meaning to watch Once Upon a Time in America but the thing is just so long that I really have to psych myself up to watch it. For some reason, I have real difficulty watching long movies at home. At the theatre, I could probably watch a 10 hour movie as long as I have a cup to piss in. At home, there are just too many distractions.

I've had Deer Hunter for years on VHS but I never got around to watching it. Now, I think I'll just wait until I can watch it in widescreen on DVD.

Especially Dirty Pretty Things. Great movie.

Yeah, I've been on a real Stephen Frears kick lately. If you haven't seen it, you should really check out The Grifters.

Yeah Once Upon A Time In America is close to 4 hours. It's quite a ride and the Ennio Morricone score is something else.

The first 15 minutes or so of Deer Hunter almost put me to sleep, but once it picks up it stays up.

Wow, I didn't know Ennio Morricone did the score for it. Then again, I guess I could've assumed seeing as how it's a Sergio Leone film. I saw The Battle of Algiers a few weeks ago and while the movie was a bit slow, the Morricone score was fucking awesome.
