Ok, Phoenix Wright or Trauma Center?

<---- if you must choose one.

Do you want to play or do you want to read? They fun in their own way. But yeah, one is frantic non stop action, the other u can play with one hand.

I made the same decesion in October.

Wright or Truama?

I choose the Wright path and never looked back.

For a reason I still don't understand, shops here (in Europe) still haven't import Phoenix Wright, I'll have to buy it online.

But Trauma Center is a damn good game. Difficult, challenging, fun, and very well think for the touchscreen of the DS.

Trauma Center. Because once you get the few kicks out of the bizarre lawyer soap opera story that Phoenix Wright provides, you might start to wonder where the gameplay is. In a nutshell:

Witness: Blah blah blah.
You: Objection!
Judge: No, that's not it.

Witness: Blah blah blah.

Judge: No, that's not it.

Judge: Yes, that's it.

With Phoenix Wright, you're guaranteed a minimum of 15 hours to 20 hours because it is a linear experience. There is no timer though.

Trauma Center has a timer but it's pretty inaccurate of the time that you actually play because you will play some surgeries many many times, but it's definitely around 10 hours or a bit less.

It really depends on what you like if you HAVE to pick between the two games. PW is more like a good mystery novel with a ton of twists that you won't be able to put down whereas Trauma Center is like having bite-sized 5 to 10 minute intense experiences that leaves you to take a breather in between.

Trauma Center >>>> Phoenix Wright.

My favorite game for the DS besides Mario Kart (Haven't played Mario & Luigi or AC yet)

I got both.

The order I got them in was Trauma Center, then Phoenix Write, simply because PW was much more difficult to find. TC is all action with text inbetween levels, PW is all text, no action. Both are EXcellent!

Trauma Center is all right, but it’s just a series of rudimentary reflex mini-games. As the game goes on they get linked together in interesting patterns etc and provides a bevy of challenges on both speed and stylus skill.

You'll be doing this a lot in Trauma Center:

What it comes down to is what will you appreciate more, an adventure game with heavy emphasis on deduction skills (Phoenix Wright) or a quick-paced series of mini-games (Trauma Center). Both games will guarantee to fill up your wacky quota if that's what you want.

This is the best advice you will get. If you want an awesome game, get Trauma Center. If you want to be entertained get Phoenix Wright.

Off topic: Where's everyone getting the spiffy Phoenix Wright avatars? I know how to make them in Imageeady, just wondering where you're getting source videos. (I want to make one Edgeworth's bow, or Von Karma's finger shake.)

Trauma Center is fun, but often gets frustrating. Phoenix Wright is fun, and IMHO doesn't get frustrating til the fifth tacked on episode.

Phoenix Wright then, because it stays frustrationless-fun for a longer period of time. :)

Phoenix Wright is fun, but the save system combined with how lengthy some of the days can be wears a little annoying for a portable.

Trauma Center can't be ignored. It has just as much of a horribly fun soap opera story going on and can become highly addicting in the sort of tear out your hair frustratingly difficult way.

Pressing start allows you to save at any time.
