I felt a few rolls under my chair, followed by my dad running to the living room in his underwear asking me if I felt anything

The rolls owned

Was that what that was earlier this morning? I knew it! I didn't really feel anything, but I heard this rumbling noise that lasted a few seconds. This is all the way down in Southern California, mind you. Nobody else believed me, though. My dad said it was just some noise, and there was no way it was an earthquake. I turned on the local AM stations that usually report earthquakes, and nothing. Turned on the police scanner incase it was something else, nope, nothing.

Yep, that was the earthquake.

Felt it up here in the Bay Area (San Jose)

Apparently there was some 6.9 earthquake near the Philippines earlier today too

It was in the 4.0-5.0 range, centered about 20 miles east of San Jose.

I like the quakes. A little bump and vibration, better than Magic Fingers.

I felt it down here in fresno it woke me up. Gotta love water bed's they move so much if you get even a small quake.

Didn't feel it here in Merced....then again I didn't wake up until 9am.
