Why isnt this game out yet?
I know... April 20th for Japan, but US retailers are saying March 1st? I'm guessing at least one of these dates is wrong (it'd be cool if we got this first, like some of Capcom's other stuff), but somehow I doubt it. As others have said, 2006 looks to be a strong year for the PS2.

I can't wait for Capcom to bring it out here as Devil Dog. The main dog Lassy goes to the depths of well to save her boy, Timmy.

Man, I missed this thread, and so did a lot of other people it seems. I haven't thought much about Okami lately, but those screens definitely rejuvenated my interest. Beautiful.

How long has this game been on the coming soon block? I'm getting tired of waiting but as long as it come early this year then I'll stil pick it up.

TGS demo is interesting, but combat with the paintbrush is a one-trick pony that is neither as satisfying as hitting people in condemned, nor reaches the arguably low technical standard of even a Zelda duel, but the demo doesn't really offer much in the way of enemy variety or disparity either. The puzzles were pretty novel though, and the world design has a strange consistency that melds well with its artistic vision, I was quite surprised how fleshed out the NPC village was. Zelda comparisons are abound.

Also that dog can jump real high.

The video looks incredible. I almost have no words for it.

Love the art style.

This seems to be the kind of game I could simply walk around in for days if only to admire it's beauty. :)

DIMINISHING RETURNS! :lol

I hope this one turns out well. For some reason - it reminds me of Ecco the Dolphin. Don't ask why. I have no idea.

It may have something to do with the jumping animation. :X

Awesome videos.

Is it just me, or is there *a lot* of pop-up in this game? (see video 1 1:35-1:45)
Yeah the pop-ins are quite bad, but it still looks awesome. One more game I wish would be released on PS3 to overcome these technical issues (the other one would of course be shadow of the colossus).
