I have but one question for Nintendo sycophants: Why is any suggestion that even slighty dares to deviate from the bland Zelda "norm" always considered to be "crap?" This series is really due for some fucking change. I can't even enjoy Minish Cap because of this invading thought in my mind that I've done/seen it all before

People seem to show so little creative thinking or open-mindedess, that not a SINGLE PERSON so far has, oh, suggested that one of these "dark Links" might look bad-ass as a specifically evil counterpart to Link.

Hell, what about a plot in which say, the Master Sword will only work for the Hero of Time, so Ganon magically steals a piece of Link's soul or something and morphs himself into a dark Link, and claims the sword? There's a billion fresh takes on things. Instead, folks seem mostly able to just keep on clutching their balls for dear life and looking around in terror for any threats to their masculinity or hipster status.

Even if they used a dark Link again, I wouldn't want him looking like this straight-out-of-a-14-year-old-outcast's cliché manure.
