Ninja Gaiden: Hurricane Pack #2 - Chapter 12
This is getting downright ridiculous. The Flying Swallow move is COMPLETELY USELESS for the HP #2 and every enemy can be a challenge.
These bastards shown below are just insanely hard to beat when in pairs without them taking a significant amount of your health bar. You can counter them easily until breaking their outer shell. Then they become aggressive club-swinging badasses.
The boss shown below, turned from a pansy in normal difficulty to an evil methodical bastard in HP #2. His stabbing move takes about 60% off your health bar. I found him harder than Alma from this same HP.
I thought my skill had found its match at the beginning of Chapter 12. Well, many deaths later, I almost found that to be true, but I could get to the end of it. Now, I'm right at the end boss of it.
For me, there is just no better action game (of its class) than Ninja Gaiden. Not 2D, not 3D. It is not perfect, but I'll be damned if it's not as perfect as an action game of its class has ever gotten. To show my appreciation for the forum, here are more pics of Ryu wielding the bitch-smacking stick:
From HP #3, which I'll tackle (haha who am I kidding, I will BOW TO IT'S EVEN MORE INSANE DIFFICULTY!) after I'm done with HP #2:
Finally, no NG thread is complete without our master:
