One month from today: BioShock Infinite

Surely not everyone will be picked up.

Like Andrew said, you could do the Premium edition through Amazon, but I really think Songbird is gone from everywhere, depending on the platform.

I wasn't willing to wait till the 28th for Amazon to deliver the Premium (for some reason, they weren't offering release day delivery), so I went with the regular PS3 edition through them.

Sharp eyes.

Man if Steam doesn't get to the point of getting X-COM as a preorder bonus I'm gonna be very disappointed.

Does it usually unlock this late?

I'm sure it'll pick up in the next week or so once it gets closer to release. I just want my damn TF2 items so I can sell them but that ticker only goes up about 3% a day it seems >.<

Yes. Tomb Raider was the only one I have ever seen that unlocked the last tier weeks ahead of time.

Fucking brilliant man.

16 more days bitches!

Even if the game turns out to be bad (which I dont think it will), just the art direction of Columbia is worth the price of admission in itself. Cant wait just to wander around gawking at stuff. Ill be doing alot of that at the start of the game before triggering combat sequences

After watching that AI vid from IGN, Ill defintely be screwing around with the beach sequence a fair bit :)

Honestly, that shot of Booker(?) opening the doors and seeing Columbia for the first time is enough to sell the game to me. Should be quite the looker in the art department. Hopefully gameplay has been beefed up, as I simply didn't enjoy the past Bioshock games outside of their story/world.

I have watched one trailer and have seen a screenshot here and there. This is my approach to most upcoming game - like to be as surprised as possible.

Same here. I know there's a woman involved and that Columbia is like the new Rapture in the sky, but that's all I know. I can't even remember the trailer anymore. Watched it ages ago.

Can you sell that stuff on the marketplace yet or is it still limited to TF2 items?
Only TF2 items (I think dota items too but I don't play dota so I dunno), I was just thinking of selling it here on GAF in the buy/sell thread.

$45 from South American price - $10 from TF2 hats - $15 from X-COM = 20 bucks for Bio Infinite.

Sounds like a great deal to me.

I'm hoping Xcom gets added to my Steam inventory, rather than my library, so I can sell it.

Steam needs to hurry up and open up that marketplace.

It probably will if you have it already. I didn't have Bioshock 1 and it just appeared at the bottom of my library.

I don't own Xcom, though. I mean, hey, if it gets added to my library, then I'll play it, but if inventory, then it's gonna be trading fodder.

Sounds like it'll be library, which is fine.

For those getting the physical copy of the game, which version are you buying? I decided to just get the Premium Edition. Wasn't a huge fan of the Songbird statue.

You can sell dota items. You think those tf2 items will sell for $10?

Had I been working when the Songbird edition was still available through Gamestop or Amazon for release day delivery, I would have bit. As it is, a friend had an extra Industrial Revolution code, so I just went for the regular edition.

There's 7 of them. I think $10 is under valuing it, although I just recently got into this stuff so I have no idea how it normally works with new items. I sold 3 witcher 2 items for $17 total about a week ago.

Anybody want to play the sales game?

I think this game will sell a very decent 5 million copies.

This media blackout is making me itchy. It will pay off in a couple of weeks I'm sure.

I'd say that's pretty close to the mark. 5-6 million is perfectly decent for a game like this.

So can somebody beat the game within 6 hours to send me the PC savefile so I can have my first playthough on 1999 mode?

Thanks,
