Songbird is kinda neat. Just looked at some random pics of him, which I hadn't really done before. I found it interesting that
his wings and feet/hand claws are all artificially constructed, complete with gears and harnesses, and that he really does appear to be some huge humanoid in a big leather suit underneath the accessories.

It also isnt meant to be a disservice to BioShock 2 in any way despite what some may think.

At this point I'm more curious
who built all of that shit. It's meticulously engineered. I'm picturing Songbird sitting at some giant desk and building his suit, Spiderman style.
Well the myth itself could be interpreted as a moderation lesson and learning the values of it. Flying too high burned the wings and flying too low would have him crash into the sea. I think IG is using the Icarus metaphor as another way of showing that extreme ideologies, no matter which way you slice it will always end in ruin. Finding the middle ground is the true challenge.

All you do is press the left analog stick forward and pull the triggers to shoot shit every now and then while watching a Z-grade movie. I give it a generous 3/10.

Very nice. With all of the Vigors, weapons and utilization of the Skylines, there will no doubt be plenty of opportunities for some real 'holy shit' moments. Plenty of replayability, too.

What's going on with the screen? The yellow cracking looks like it'll become awfully annoying. The green highlighter when you can jump to skyrails/land is also somewhat extreme, I preferred the earlier, smaller highlighter.
Still, combat looks great.
Every time somebody mentions Mirror's Edge, I die a little inside.
I need my goddamn sequel more than anything in the world (except Bioshock, of course)
