More news trickling in from a Ngage press update this week in Canada targeted to Project Midway and the other GAF ngage fan whose name I forgot... or was there another, can't remember? Oh well, anyway:

ONE hopes to differentiate itself from other fighting games by introducing full customization for your fighter. From the start of the game, you’ll take control of an individualized fighter determining their sex, skin color, and clothing. The game features an extensive selection of clothing and the option of fighting in the flesh. Going topless will show off any tattoos you may have inked on your character; in fact, ONE will allow you to create simple graphics for use as tattoos on your fighter. The logistics of incorporating user-created images is still being worked.

With your tailored fighter, you’ll brawl with other fighters in various matches to build your ELO rating. Going beyond the simplicity of win/loss statistics, ONE accounts for damage given/taken, punch and kick accuracy, knockout time, the number of combinations executed per match, and win/loss ratio. The goal is to rank players according to their true skill, versus the number of matches they may or may not have won. The more matches you participate in, the more advanced your fighter will become; heretofore, you’ll have the opportunity to specialize combinations for your character. Each fighter’s style will naturally evolve over the course of extensive play, hopefully creating a dynamic fighting experience.

As with any fighting game, ONE is truly meant to be experience through multiplayer. Two-player Bluetooth matches will be available, occurring in real-time. When placing the game on standby, you’ll be alerted to any players in your proximity; the system works within a ten meter radius. Highly innovative, this feature is expected to spur brawls between competitive players. In addition to Bluetooth, you’ll also be able to pop onto N-Gage Arena for a multitude of features. While you won’t be able to fight against other players in real time due to latency issues, you can download shadows of fighters. World, national, and regional rankings let you know who the best fighters are; consequently, you can challenge other fighters by selecting them from the rankings and downloading their shadow. In this fashion, you can effectively make your way to the top.

Several other features are to be included over N-Gage Arena such as tournaments, and special titles and awards for skilled fighters. Unique to ONE is the concept of a fighter trustworthiness rating. Each fighter possesses a trustworthiness rating that is given by other players you fight in the game; in essence, the rating helps to curb cheaters and encourage fair play by letting you rate shady players poorly. Fighter trustworthiness is separate from ELO rating, which is determined by the computer. If you don’t possess a lot of skill in the fighting arena, you can relegate yourself to fandom by assigning your fighter as a fan. Tough fighters can culture a posse of players simply by kicking ass and taking names over N-Gage Arena.

Although they showed the game, they didn't give out screens as it was an early build. But art was available:
