Just after it threatened to disappear into total irrelevance by turning into an 'online only' ( ¯\_(ツ_/¯ ) channel BBC Three signs a deal with the UFC that will see them broadcast any events (likely Fight Nights) that fall outside of the promotion's long running deal with BT Sports.

An interesting development but I doubt that this will be a significant agreement given that BT Sport carries over 90% of the UFC events and programming already with certain 'local' events falling outside of this deal.
Sign me up to main event a Bellator pay per view if old.
EDIT - It didn't make it clear at all but the BBC Three deal with the UFC is effectively for 'pre' and 'post' event coverage which could be the prelims and a panel discussion afterwards like Fox Sports does for the US pay-per-views.
BBC Three will provide pre- and post-fight coverage of the event, which will feature a main event bout between former UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva and England's own Michael Bisping.
BBC Three are set to provide editorial coverage of UFC events within Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with the possibility of also covering international events elsewhere.
